I looked, but so far I don't see a thread for LOS 18.1. I've installed it, and I can't make calls with the default preferred network type of "Global". I have to disable LTE to be able to make or receive calls, or send texts. When the device is in 3G/H+ mode, it is able to make and receive calls, and text just fine. Is there going to be a new thread for official 18.1, or can anyone else confirm they have LTE issues with the latest 18.1 nightly?

I can confirm the issue mentioned above. LTE is not working properly on my Moto G6 Plus as well on LineageOS 18.1. When I switch to 3g/H+ calls are working.

That's strange, no issues here with LTE. I will definitely look into it tho. And yes, I will create a new thread for 18.1 today or tomorrow

Thanks for the heads up. Strange that you guys are having this issue. I've had builds posted for months prior to official Lineage 18.1 release and never once has any mentioned any issues regarding LTE. And if I myself had had such an issue, which I can't seem to reproduce, then it would have long been fixed. Regardless, I'll look into this and update you guys with info as I know more and have a chance to look at logs.

Here is an update from me - so I downgraded the build to 17.1 LOS and that version has actually a slider to turn on or off VOLTE from the Mobile settings. When turned off calls are working in the following manner - when you select LTE/GSM/WCDMA as preferred network and as soon as you dial or receive a call it goes directly into H+/3G and you can receive/make calls. When the call finishes the 4G/LTE gets back. When I turn VOLTE on then the phone calls just don't work - incoming or outgoing as well. I think that this is related to the VOLTE functionality, strangely as my telecom says that my device supports VOLTE and it should be working according to their supported list of devices.

Ok I think I know where this might be going. According to the error:

However by checking the vendor_manifest.xml file only included are versions 1.2,1.5, 2.3 and 1.0 for qtiradio. Maybe include the other ones as this might solve the issue with the phone calls?

after every lineage 18.1 update i have to reset my phone. If not it will not boot normal and stays in a bootloop. Performing a reset after every updat is resolving the bootloop problem. Is there a fix for this.

I have also discovered that my wifi quality on my phone has dropped after updating to lineage 18.1.

I just updated to the latest 18.1 nightly and I still have to run with LTE disabled or I can't make calls or send texts. Has anyone looked into the above lead with the vendor.qti.hardware.radio.ims versions? I also see the same error in my logcat. Only other meaningful thing I can think to check is the Baseband version which is M660_30.77.01.101R which is standard for Telstra in Australia (where the device came from).

Cannot connect to eduroam business wifi network, With ver 18.1. In wifi setting it is asking for a Domain to fill in. This was not present on lineage 17.1. I could connexct to Eduroam with no problems

Hi, I can confirm this issue; having it too. For now I think I'll go back to 17.1 because in my case texts or calls don't work even when I disable LTE (at least they don't seem to). Have you by any chance seen it fixed with the latest nightlies?

Which is strange because my phone worked flawlessly at a time when people started reporting the issue.

Seems very nice so far, the only thing that doesn't work is recording snaps with video+audio as usual, used to that by now though!

Everything else seems smooth, coming from Bliss-rom there's definitly less ram usage on this rom.

you simply flashed recovery, you can now temporarely boot to recovery via fastboot menu on your phone or you boot twrp via fastboot command: fastboot boot twrp-xyz.img
since most custom roms encrypt data, twrp will only work by booting it with fastboot command
