No incoming calls on LTE

@aviraxp Sorry for checking again, but can't get incoming calls when on LTE. Outgoing calls work fine, network switches to 4G /3G automatically. I have forced 3G to get calls for now.

My network carrier doesn't need volte, I used to get incoming calls on LOS 15. I am on June 6 build, on AT&T usa network.

Any resolution to this? Any help is highly appreciated

Thanks!

Incoming calls with automatic swapping from LTE to 3G so far working fine here. O2 Germany. Maybe something specific to certain bands?

Is there any chance to install the "original" Oxygen camera to LOS 17.1?
Flashing via TWRP results in a wrong folder structure since LOS17.1. Copying manually to the right places (system/priv-app, system/frameworks) doesn't work neither.
Anyway I added the priv-app permissions as they were working in LOS16.
Thanks for your help
Max
Does it work with the latest nightly bild?

I use a porting of OP5 or OP3 (don't remember) camera and I have been using it for LOS 16&17.
Previous I flashed it with its own jar background, then, for the same reason, I installed it via only apk and it behaves great, I have to say.

If you want, I can share it with you. Let me know :D

(I don't know if I can attach it to this post due to Forum rules)

Hello friends and @aviraxp , in this ROM there is still a problem which was present in all LOS versions so far: when talking on loudspeaker using any app, the other party hears a very strong echo. This happens even on lowest in-call-volume. And sometimes even happens on high in-call-volume with loudspeaker off.

There is no echo when talking on speaker in regular Phone-calls. But when using any app (Telegram / Google Duo / WhatsApp / Signal / whatever) echo-cancellation is not doing anything for the other party. So it must be some software setting and not hardware-related. Also, when using stock OxygenOS there is no problem in any app.

How can this be fixed?

No issues here so far. I used to have echo problem intermittently on LOS 15. Other callers used to hear themselves. But, toggling speaker, removing phone from case or hanging up and calling back used to help. Also removing all audio mods, even volume gains helped.

You can try those things and see if it helps.

Strange. What app did you use to make a call? With how many people have you tested? Did you explicitly ask them about hearing the echo?

Thank you for the tips. Regarding which: I am running vanilla LineageOS 17, always clean install, full wipe, default settings, no mods, OxygenOS 3.6.1 firmware. Also, I have never used a phone case with my OP2.

Calling back / toggling speaker / rebooting / re-flashing does not help — since I moved from Oxygen OS 3.6.1 to LineageOS 16 a year ago, the issue was 100% persistent. Eco happens in all apps, 10 out of 10 times.
The only exception are regular phone calls — for some reason they don't produce echo for other party when using speakerphone. But apps do.

Humm, I have tried regular phone calls and WhatsApp calls. Used to have echo sometimes. Actually, it was so annoying that callers used to tell me about it. :D and yes, I do ask them every now and then about echo.

But not now n this version. I also did clean flash, the only problem I have is no incoming calls on LTE. I think you can try lowering the call volume in case it gets too loud and microphone is too sensitive to pick it up? May be.

Edit: It may also be the way you hold the phone. Make sure you try different positions to hold it. Like don't hold your palm all over the back of phone, etc. Speak only in one microphone, top or bottom.

Hey together,
With doing normal phone calls, the volume of the call is automatically on highest volume (100%), even if the call-volume is set to lowest (10%). For every call I do, I need to push volume up that it jumps to 20% (100% is full volume) and then I'm able to push volume down to 10% and the call get's the right volume. Someone having the same issue?
recognizing this since Linage OS 16. I thought it would change for 17.1, but it didn't.

Thanks in advance

unfortunately not, still crashing immediately after starting the app.

Thanks for sharing the apk. Is the "pro-mode" working for you? When I start it the app is crashing.

I am on 17.1-20200627-NIGHTLY-oneplus2, updated from 20200620 and my clock app has stopped working. My alarm did not ring. Anyone else the same problem? Cleared cache, davlik, cleared clock app files, restarted, forced stop etc.

NVM, reflashing helped to fix the problem.
