Hi,
I just installed Lineage17.1, installed OpenGapps Nano and flashed Magisk root.

Unfortunately, I can't get any location.. neither with Google Maps, nor does the system live display (for night light) recognize the location.

I reinstalled already the system. It's the bare system with the only steps described above (+ Google Maps installation...).

Does someone experience the same issue or has any idea were the problem could be?

@KakatkarAkshay I know this question has been asked multiple times, but since I haven't seen the answer, I"m going to ask it one more time - is there hope for any further work on Lineage for the Nord? I can remember you saying you haven't lost interest, but I can fully understand others' personal life and so on, I just want to set my expectations on a proper level.

Hi,

Just flashed the rom ! Thanks for evertything !
Wanted to add my very small contribution by signaling a small but anoying bug ( for me ) .

It seems that there is a corelation between the bluetooth and the wifi access point. I can't use them at the same time.
When I'm using bluetooth end turn on the wifi acsess point I loose conection on the bluetooth part.

And I'm unable to reconnect.
The bluetooth seems still on but the connection is lost.

Only solution I found is to dissociate and re associate my earphone everytime.

Otherwise everything works well for me.

Awesome ROM!

@KakatkarAkshay Thank you very much for your time and effort!

I really hope you have the will to work on the 18.1 version because some of us really need a ROM without Google bloatware...

Bugs I experienced so far are:
- "Slowly charging" on the lock-screen even though it's normally Fast charging;
- sometimes the phone becomes laggy for no apparent reason (reboot helps).

And that's it! The ROM is perfect for everyday use and I thank you for that. :)

The last LOS that works for me is from 20210819.
The ROMs with date 20210902 and 20210826 start, but then have a bootloop.
Is this a specific problem with my installtion or can someone confirm this?

Short workaround if you have this too: just use
fastboot set_active a
or
fastboot set_active b
in LOS recovery. Depending on which is the "old" working slot.

EDIT: For whatever reason, after a lot of trial and error, it works now. After a sudden and surprising but successful boot, the Magisk modules were disabled, so the problem was probably there. I have now re-enabled the modules and reinstalled them for safety's sake, and everything works again. Problem solved.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Hi, any plans about Lineage18.1 on Avicii ?
    11
Builds are now official and will be published on https://download.lineageos.org according to the build schedules. Builds will be updated weekly.

Sadly that seems to be the case: no changes by the maintainer since Jan 27. It's on auto-build or something, since weekly updates do come along with generic updates applied. I don't know how long is that able go on before the device is dropped from the official roster. Maybe another developer will pick it up, if the current maintainer has lost interest in this ROM.

Again, no complaints - it's volunteer work and i'm grateful for it all anyway.
I haven't lost interest, I'm busy irl and don't have time to work on Nord right now.
