I hate to sound like a broken record, but had anyone with previous issues been able to solve Google Hotword detection been able to properly solve it? I'm still not sure if it's ROM-related.

I haven't unfortunately. I used NikGapps Core and it didn't work, just like Android Auto. The last I was able to fix fortunately by manually flashing the NikGapps-Addon-11-AndroidAuto. I tried the same for Google Assistant but that didn't solve the issue. I am able to enable 'OK Google' under Voice Match, but it doesn't respond.

Flashed 08-14 yesterday and it's been running stable. I came from one of the June builds and I too noticed that I am no longer able to pull down the notifications from either side of the notch, it only works from the notch itself. Not a big deal but would be nice to see this fixed as I see myself struggling a lot to pull down the bar from the first time.

If you use NikGApps, get a package with Velvet Addon ( I think full package include it - u can use config file to choose what u want to install) or manually flash it.
Otherwise try FlameGApps with Google Assistant Addon.

BEWARE! I downloaded the latest Velvet Addon for Android R from NikGapps, flashed it and now my system won't boot. Reason displayed by TWRP is 'rescueparty'. Never seen this error before and TWRP suggests to wipe cache and/or format data and/or clean install.

Edit: Wiping caches did not help. I only managed to get the ROM booting again by reflashing the ROM itself, but now Magisk is gone and it won't let me reinstall (ZIP signature verification fails).
Edit2: Forgot I turned on ZIP verification as a test when installing the latest version of this ROM... apparently that doesn't work well for flashing Magisk. Disabled ZIP verification and all is good now.

I'm just gonna forget about the 'OK Google' now, not worth the stress of a phone that doesn't boot.

Hello everyone, does somebody know, if it's possible to activate the "High Performance DAC Mode"? AFAIK the SDM845 also have this mode supported, because it's have a WCD9xx codecs. And actually there is also a Magisk module for this, to make it's easy to activate it, but for me it's not working and so by looking into the modules script it's search for (the directories?) "high_perf_mode" "cpe_debug_mode" and "impedance_detect_en" under "/sys/module" but I didn't find anything there. Is there another way to activate it, (also Poweramp didn't work for me) or must it be added to the kernel (?) sources or on anything else? (I really don't know ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯ )
I would be very thankfull then someone know something about that mode, I really want to check it out, one day :). I put also the module here, when somebody wants to try it out ;).
The module also creates logfiles under /data/high_perf_dac that tells if it was successfully to activate/change the 3 parameters.

(Btw, I'm also on the latest LOS build)

You need to flash twrp only, the kernel is included in the rom....

1 flash twrp
2 boot into twrp
3 format data
4 wipe dalvik and cache ( internal memory if you want)
5 flash gapps and magisk ( both optional)
6 profit.... 😉

No need to flash any custom kernel. Lineage OS's stock kernel is good enough and feature rich. You can follow the steps given on Lineage OS wiki and you should be fine. Just ensure your bootloader is unlocked and you have enough battery. The rest of the steps are quite straightforward if you are using Lineage Recovery. You can flash the rom using TWRP as well, and installing that is similar to installing Lineage Recovery. There should be guides to do that here on XDA.

Read all instructions twice, and ensure you have all the required files downloaded. All the best!!

I recently updated my Poco from Lineage 16 to 18.1 and flashed Mindthegapps as well. Ever since the update, my phone's battery life has started draining a lot and is barely lasting 12 hours. Battery usage shows nothing abnormal as far as I can tell.

Is anyone else having the same issue or can someone help me out here? I loved Lineage mainly because of the awesome battery life.

That's a huge jump in upgrades, do a clean flash.

I did the following for my flash
Wiped everything with twrp recovery
Flashed firmware
Flashed lineage 18.1 (21 Aug build)
Flashed Mindthegapps

I'm assuming this is the clean flash order. I also did this earlier with the 7 Aug build and Nikgapps but had the same problem so flashed everything again and changed Gapps package.

If the battery stats showed the drain, I'd have a starting point to work from but no help there

Did you do a factory reset and also wipe /system partition before flashing?

So I booted my phone into safe mode for a few hours to check if it's an app issue. Lost around 20% over 6 hours this way. Used to hardly be around 6-7% earlier.

Still no idea what's causing this. Any suggestions what to do next?

Hi,
For me, you have to wait a few days for the rom to fall into place. Do a few battery charges to balance everything. I have always done this since cyanogen from my X10.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    GPL compliance:

    Working:
    • Camera (and flashlight)
    • WiFi
    • Bluetooth
    • Telephony (Calls and Data)
    • IMS (RCS, VoLTE and WiFi Calling)
    • Audio (Record and Playback)
    • Video Playback
    • Sensors
    • GPS
    • Encryption (FBE)
    • WiFi Display

    Broken:
    • Nothing (?)

    Compatibility:
Compatible with all Xiaomi Poco F1 variants.
Builds are based off the Xiaomi's Android 10 firmware with proprietary blobs from MIUI v11.0.3.0 global stable package.

    Downloads:

    Notice:
    • No custom kernels are supported in this thread. Only stock kernel and official builds will be supported. No bug reports if that's not the case.

    Installation:
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Format /system, /data and /cache
    • Install LineageOS zip package
    • Install [optional] a Google Apps package of your choice (Open GApps is advisable, but stock and super variants are not recommended!!!)
    Important notes:
    • * Required * firmware version must be based on MIUI Q-based builds.
    • GApps can only be flashed on clean installs.
    • Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.

    Credits & collaborations:
All LineageOS team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

New build is out. It includes March's security patch.

New build is up, with this month's Android security fixes already included and working WiFi Display.
    21
Having built the ROM with this patch, I can also confirm that it resolves my issues with auto brightness.
@bgcngm, it would be great if the patch was included.
Very likely. I am noticing these auto-brightness issues more often now while working on Android 12 and it's driving me nuts. Will give it a try and if it fixes the issue I will apply it over to the current builds.
    20
@bgcngm you will be working in lineage 19/19.1?
It's ready, I just didn't share any unofficial build yet.
