Another brightness issue here: when adjust brightness by sliding across the status bar (this option could be enabled in settings), in extreme left position screen becomes very bright instead of very dim, fix it please

The pixel experience does not have this problem, maybe take values from there ?
https://github.com/PixelExperience-...rameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml

Kindly pinging @bgcngm for the idea :)

I compared the Pixel Experience latest changes [1] with Lineage [2], after the common ancestor bgcngm deleted the QC location support, while it was commented by jjpprrrr.
I can't tell for the rest, I don't how how Android works and if the other commits outside the brightness are useful for Lineage.

IIRC, they said that they are willing to change the brightness values by would be passed on to them for us to test.
No, he said he would include the changes if one of us checked, compiled and tested the changes. Its not that hard to do but my build PC died about a year ago and android 13 would take about 3 days to build on my old I3 laptop. But surely someone on here has a decent PC to compile some test builds.

@MiniBlu do you know how much space it would need? I can give it a try, I have an i7 but from the Haswell generation.

Also I would need some help to get the relevant commits to cherry-pick.

approximately 200GB disk space and minimum 16GB Ram. Do A Stock build first to make sure your set up right. Then try the display / auto brightness settings from pixel experience here. If you can get a stock build working and then need assistance I will help out.

Hi, am I the only one having a clumsy status bar? Deploying It feels weird sometimes and not responding as usual (coming from LOS 18), notifications are also behaving bizarrely.

I'm also having a bit of delay in my notifications.

And finally I feel like I'm losing calls while (I think) I have mobile coverage, is someone having this problem too?

@bgcngm how could I help debugging this issues aswell as the brightness problem?

A few days ago I finally got around to update to LOS20 and soon noticed the absence of keyboard vibro feedback. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but today when I did a clean reinstall, I was glad to get the keyboard vibration back, but it only lasted a few minutes, after which the feedback disappeared again. Looks like a real bug. Could you please take a look?

And thank you again.

WiFi Calling problem.

I have been unable to get WiFi calling working. When I attempt a call with a strong WiFi signal and a non-existent mobile signal I get the error "Mobile network isn't available. Connect to a wireless network to make a call".

Both VoLTE and WiFi Calling are enabled in LOS.

Carrier supports VoLTE and WiFi Calling - and the carrier has helpfully checked their settings on my account. WiFi calling working on same carrier, at same location on a Pixel 7 running GrapheneOS .

What am I missing?

Hi, with the April 21 update, SafetyNet fail. Can I downgrade to April 14 update?
Hi I'm on 5th May build and safetynet started failing, after installing Universal Safetynet Fix it passed for a couple of days and now is failing again. How is this possible? Do new updates have this issue? @bgcngm

Hi, I'm still having issues with calls that I don't receive, that takes too long to be made or random mobile data disconnections on 20-20230526-NIGHTLY-polaris. I'm forced to turn on Airplane Mode and turn It off for the phone top recover mobile data even tho I have mobile coverage at all times. What can I do, @bgcngm ?

Hello, I want to reactivate my mimix 2s. Updated from LoS 19.2 to the current image. But I get the Gapps not installed correctly! When the phone restarts, the Google apps always close. I use "MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64-20230408_162909.zip". It installs in the sideload with no error message, but it doesn't work.

Try with this GApps (in my case I used omni):

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

LOS 20: Any experience so far?..
Yup, working as expected including the flaky auto brightness. Upgraded from 19.1 to 20, the Mi MIX 2S is my daily driver. No issues encountered yet, even the PayPal app works again. Happy user here!

Hi, is there a way how to modify the brightness curve without manually building the lineageOS? The minimum brightness is way too low. It is really annoying problem at least for me.

    Edit: Removed the build.prop info

First, thank you for your ongoing support of the MiMix2s, very much appreciated.

Everything works very well, the only flaw of the current LOS20 (and since 17.1) is the too dim brightness in low light condition. I happen to have a spare MiMix2s with me and would be glad to help eliminating this bug. I'm no programmer, but could flash provided test-builds and test.
Currently it has PE13+ flashed and especially the initial brightness after turning on the screen in low light is way better, so settings could be adopted from PE13.

When can you repair the rounded corners of the screen?
