Any help in flashing my droid ultra maxx to the latest CM12? I already have twrp installed.

Never heard of a Droid Ultra Maxx(unless maybe it's an Ultra upgraded with a Maxx battery+back) , but either way you need to use Phils touch ghost based recovery to flash any ghost based roms on a msm8960dt phone. Then use the patch

This is the Droid Ultra forum. The Mini and Maxx are both Ultra variants and yes, the Maxx is an Ultra but with a bigger battery.

I know which phone is which, and that the ultra/maxx/mini are basically the same phones... So your saying there's a Droid Ultra Maxx?

I guess not. I've seen it referred to as a Droid Ultra Maxx since they are essentially the same phone with different batteries but Motorola and Verizon do not actually call it that. It's officially a Droid Maxx though I would never question it if referred to as an Ultra Maxx

PAC Lollipop 3-10-15 Nightly Build

I saw the post stating that the new builds are based on the CM12 source for obake so I had to download it and give it a try. This was one of my favorite ROM's on my Droid RAZR Maxx.

I haven't tested all of the functions and features yet but so far it has been running great for the past hour. Calls, SMS, MMS data, WiFi all working with no force closes. I did notice that there are more IO options but I haven't changed it from the default 'row' yet.

I am glad that PAC is building specifically for this device and that no 'hacks' are needed to run it.

Thank you skiwong20 !

i am glad that it is working good. i own moto x so for i can't test everything but alot is shared with a common device tree. there is a custom kernel from one of the team devs tdhite. so u can use a kernel app to change voltage and few other not a big kernel just a little extra.....smartmax is the best govern. for this device in my opinion

Really? A custom kernel? I would like to check it out, could you provide a link?

Trickster Mod for kernel

Its been a while since I used Trickster on my old Droid RAZR. I installed it to check out the baked in kernel settings on PAC ROM. It is nice to have options, especially baked in without having to try out different custom kernels that could cause problems.

Excerpts on governors & schedulers taken from here, really good info but I only included the ones I found listed in the PAC ROM with Trickster:

The XDA Thread and very long but has great info.

This has all of the info condensed and easier to make sense of.

I'm sick of stock and boring updates... I'm also on the mini.
In what order would I need to do things? Does it matter when I apply the sound patch?
Is it basically the three steps listed above along with the sound patch?
Any other issues?
