I used philz recovery6.57.9 to install cm12 then install pac rom,,,after pac rom was set up then I flashed the old cm sound patch and all worked.

I'm sick of stock and boring updates... I'm also on the mini.
In what order would I need to do things? Does it matter when I apply the sound patch?
Is it basically the three steps listed above along with the sound patch?
Any other issues?

Just installed the rom. It's great! Does anyone know if there is a way to enable VoLTE dialing? The feature is added to the phone but the dialer won't call out using it. I also verified that the flag is turned on in the phone.

I did notice when I do a search in the menu for "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" shows up, however when I click on it it just takes me to Mobile network settings and the option isn't there. Is there a way to force this option to show up?

I've been using this rom for a while by now... with its wide array of settings it's clearly the best 5.x rom available for the Droid Ultra.
However, I've noticed that - as it is with all 5.x roms I've tried -, GPS reception is seriously flawed. All applications using GPS often lose signal, and sometimes even the whole GPS receiver seems ot be non-existent for them. Regaining signal sometimes succeeds, but usually not - the device is left with searching the signal until a reboot.
Any hints on where the culprit may be?

Try dirty unicorns. Only 5.1 rom I've tried with GPS working out of the box.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. (Since then I've found another 5.1, originally for Moto X, patched to work on the Ultra. Will try that one too.)

Can anyone tell me if this ROM has the same random UI pauses and lags and system UI waits/FC's as Dirty Unicorn's 5.1.1 ROM? I love the DU ROM overall but the lag in the UI throughout the entire system is UNBEARABLE. Based on what I have read from this thread, this ROM is not without its quirks... I guess 5.1.1 is just too wonky for this hardware?
