No I meant K broke the camera which pac seemed to fix in L... was the first rom I had for L with stable (mostly) camera. Still get power kills after taking pics especially using flash, but at least it works at all lol.

Sounds like time for a new battery. I'm a big fan of the extended batteries from laza.

I have 6 batteries, I thought that was the issue too, though the flashlight works just fine just flash don't play nice with camera sometimes, and noticed video quality has been choppy as well, haven't noticed any difference with newer or older batteries. Just my luck I suppose, as it works great on old cm 10 roms.

If you can get me an adb logcat, I'd be glad to take a look. Really suspected the battery on that one though. :)

Don't post it to the forum, send it to me private in case there's anything sensitive in there.

I actually think that it was the external charger... I since then I got a new one and the batteries seem to be doing fine... thanks tho... (not sure if not actually having mobile service could have something to do with it either, but I am running a spr with no service wifi is all I needed)

Cool!

Now that I think of it, I have had to replace my USB port on my S3 twice. You might also not be getting a great connection to the charger.

I wouldn't say it's super hard, but you need the right tools and a steady hand. The S3 port has the usual 5 usb pins, plus some extras that have a VERY small pitch. It's very easy to bridge them.

A temp controlled soldering iron (50-60 watts min), desoldering sucker, some fine Pb solder and decent flux. I wouldn't even attempt this with lead-free solder. It's just too easy to bridge. Buy more than one port, I ruined the first one, at least they are cheap.

There are actually videos up on youtube that show the process pretty well.

Yeah I definitely am crappy at soldering... was hoping it might have been just a plug... oh well the external charger works unconditionally and the less I use it the longer it will last I suppose. lol

I am a big fan of the cheap ebay qi chargers and antennas on ebay. For under 10$ you can get a qi antenna and charger and be set up with wireless charging.

As a side bonus, it helps your USB port last longer as usage goes waaay down.

My bad for the FM radio confusion. I mis-read the commits. I have never used fm radio on any of my smartphones so at the time I didn't question it. After some research, I found FM radio to be carrier and hardware dependant. International s3 version has it. By the sounds of it N.A. version does not. Take this up with Samsung. Lol. If anyone has researched this with more intensity, please share your experience. Cheers!!!!
All the U.S. S2's, S3's, and S4's don't have FM, and only the sprint S5 has FM, all the S1's, s6's, and S7's have it unless they're Verizon.
I've tried to get FM to work on here, but like everyone else, i had no success.

I updated all my firmware today. I have OH1. Now my LTE doesn't work. I tried the VM APN fix and still no dice. This has worked for years but not this time.

My apn says n.vmu.ispsn

There is another APN but I never heard of it. eHRPD?

I have Virgin Mobile and I loaded the Sprint pac-rom.

EDIT: My bad. It's been so long since I flashed my phone I forgot that I needed to flash rom-GApps-APN fix, and then boot up, then reboot to recovery and flash rom on dirty system again, then LTE works.

PAC ALPHA MARSHMALLOW

Commits can be seen here: http://review.pac-rom.com/#/q/status:merged

For changes just look back to the date of your last rom.

Download: https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/pacman/d2spr/Alpha

Flash it clean for your first time.
Flash opengapps, but do not flash "super" or "stock". Any of the others will work.
Problems have been reported if you flash SuperSU.
Do not use Titanium Backup to migrate your phone settings, including SMS, from Lollipop. SMS Backup and Restore by Carbonite seems to work well.

Otherwise, this build is now stable enough to be my daily driver. It's noticably snappy and many trifles have been fixed with M.

Enjoy!!
