I have several XA2 Ultra, and this problem on one of them since day one, not on the others. With 3 different versions of Lineage. So I assumed it was a hardware defect on that particular one, because they all run the same exact system and software. The main issue is the screen will suddenly react as if one was tapping all over it. Closing, opening, sliding, whatever. It goes crazy. Locking the device immediately and turning off the screen is the only way to stop it, until it does it again. Happens dozens of times everyday.

Also as far as I know my builds don't even enable adoptable storage so the only way to encrypt the external sd is out. Your sdcard just died. RIP
