SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

SlimKat is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 4.4 and offers the following original features:

After spending a lot of time with it, I purposely tried to mess with it, checked every option I use, restored with Titanium and I'm happy to say I haven't found any issues. It's a pretty fast small ram consuming ROM.

Now to find a way to turn off the light of the back and menu keys and finding the way to add the long pressing home button for recents(maybe xposed). It's just a personal matter, nothing related to the ROM(which is awesome!), I simply don't use the navbar. :)

OK I found something to turn off the back and menu keys light
Goto /system/lib/hw u will find "lights.exynos4.so" rename to something like"lights.exynos4.so.bkp" then reboot
It will turn off capacitive keys light forever
