Upgraded to official 17.1 today. All went good. Made a TWRP backup just to be sure, sideloaded the image and gapps and booted to Android 10 with all my previous data intact.

Hi, fantastic ROM, works very well.
A week ago I have installed clean the 17.1 of 7/7 with the latest TWRP.
I got the error:
Code:
ERROR: This package requires firmware from MIUI 8.11.23 developer build or newer. Please upgrade firmware and retry!
Updater process ended with ERROR:7
I resolved deleting the asserts in the META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
Today I received the 07-14 OTA and I got the same error.
Is there another way to update without having to edit and rezip the file or is there possible to remove the asserts in future releases?

I have about 2/3h of screen time and 7/8h of standby time, I have installed a new battery after the installing. Is this normal or the phone is consuming more than it should?

EDIT:
I have found that I can update the firmware, but I can't find any guides about. How can I update the firmware with the TWRP?
I found this firmware https: //xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/natrium/
Does this work and which one should I install?

I have the same problem (around 4h SOT) even with the new battery bought on AliExpress. The stable global firmware works good, and yes, just flash it by TWRP

Thanks a lot, I will try. I have read that flashing firmware in some cases locks the bootloader and bricks. Is the global stable safe to flash with an unlocked bootloader?

Hey Luk, thanks for the great rom.
I have Mi 5s plus 4/64 and I am using your rom for a few months now. It is rooted wit latest magisk and I am using greenify to help with battery and smoothness.
Over all it is a great rom, very smooth and stable.
But there are few bugs, but only one really problematic and it is the problem with gps. It can locate my phone but navigation doesn't work, it says that phone could not find gps signal.
There is the problem also with the loudness of YouTube Vanced (last magisk version). It is sometimes to quiet but when you pause video and then press play it starts again with normal loudness.
Is there any fix for the GPS problem, for me it is deal breaker but I really like to stay on this rom?
I am attaching screenshot of gps test app.

change the default configuration to a different gps.conf
I had a similar problem
additionally, the GPS was unstable and inaccurate
reconfigure gps.conf and that's fine

Thanks mARK, can you please tell me how to that. I am not a developer so I am not familiar with manual configurations?

Problem with gps still persist. Thanks to mARk's fix, navigation becomes usable but during driving gps signal every few minutes gets lost.
As it is deal breaker for me, I have tried to get back to MIUI but TWRP doesn't aloud me. When I try to install latest xiaomi.eu rom it gives me error 7 and when I try to recover latest backup it gives me error 255. So now I am stuck with lineage without proper working gps.
Does anyone have some kind of solution?

if you make install miui clean install then first format data, vendor, system...
if you stay on Lineage check the izat.conf file yet
turn off gps accuracy, set only sensor gps in settings

What version of TWRP you use? If it's the latest version downgrade your TWRP to 3.3.1.0
