I have the same problem (around 4h SOT) even with the new battery bought on AliExpress. The stable global firmware works good, and yes, just flash it by TWRPHi, fantastic ROM, works very well.
A week ago I have installed clean the 17.1 of 7/7 with the latest TWRP.
I got the error:
I resolved deleting the asserts in the META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
Today I received the 07-14 OTA and I got the same error.
Is there another way to update without having to edit and rezip the file or is there possible to remove the asserts in future releases?
I have about 2/3h of screen time and 7/8h of standby time, I have installed a new battery after the installing. Is this normal or the phone is consuming more than it should?
EDIT:
I have found that I can update the firmware, but I can't find any guides about. How can I update the firmware with the TWRP?
I found this firmware https: //xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/natrium/
Does this work and which one should I install?
Thanks a lot, I will try. I have read that flashing firmware in some cases locks the bootloader and bricks. Is the global stable safe to flash with an unlocked bootloader?I have the same problem (around 4h SOT) even with the new battery bought on AliExpress. Yes of course, it's not a rom, just the firmware for modem/basebandThanks a lot, I will try. I have read that flashing firmware in some cases locks the bootloader and bricks. Is the global stable safe to flash with an unlocked bootloader?
Thanks mARK, can you please tell me how to that. I am not a developer so I am not familiar with manual configurations?change the default configuration to a different gps.conf
I had a similar problem
additionally, the GPS was unstable and inaccurate
reconfigure gps.conf and that's fine
What version of TWRP you use? If it's the latest version downgrade your TWRP to 3.3.1.0Problem with gps still persist. Thanks to mARk's fix, navigation becomes usable but during driving gps signal every few minutes gets lost.
As it is deal breaker for me, I have tried to get back to MIUI but TWRP doesn't aloud me. When I try to install latest xiaomi.eu rom it gives me error 7 and when I try to recover latest backup it gives me error 255. So now I am stuck with lineage without proper working gps.
Does anyone have some kind of solution?
