What about gaming performance? i was frustrated with the last MIUI updates since my games started to slow down so switched to Los. i can play pubg way better now but also i feel the lack of some miui features.

I don't know, not played games on miui 9, I'm now on viper os 7.1 android with custom kernel. I changed roms a lot test battery and perfomance on applications, but my opinion on miui 9 gaming will work very good because lag on phone is minimal with some heavy aplications.

Anyone else noticed, there have been no more LineageOS nightlies for their Xiaomi phones since 9th of August?
Quite an uninformative comment I would say: RIP Xiaomi for now * seeya soon ^.^

Soo I was thinking they just might not have the resources for compiling all of "these" phones and I've setup my computer for building my own LOS nightly following the official guide. Literally took me 6+ hours, cause I needed to resize my partitions to give Ubuntu 100GB+ free space, then downloading some 30 or 40GB of data. But I ran into a problem when extracting proprietary blob stuff from my phone: !! vendor/etc/lm/ReferenceFeature.xml: file not found in source

Literally the only fault. But sure it fails the build process. So here is the solution posted on XDA: a repository needs to be included. Turns out, the repository is missing, taken down due to DMCA.

So is this the "only" reason for no more Xiaomi LOS (for now)? Is there anyone out there who has this specific file on their computer and is able to build LOS? Willing to share it?

Last month, several virtual machines were used to establish Syberia, Home BootleggersROM, and Havoc respectively. There were errors (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79814582&postcount=23) in retrying many times, and then they had to give up. At present, only mokee is updated every night.

So it may take a long while before an update gets released again? Havoc OP also said that he has having difficulties regarding the same issue so it may also take a while for him to release an update too.

Guys, i have a wierd problem, I'm currently on miui beta, all great, then suddenly problem:
Phone running on low temperature, backup data because it will shut down, i saw a battery temp -25 antartica... In my country temps are 30+ these days.
Is anyone facing this problem. I search a little and might be a battery temp sensor fail, it wont charge or anything. Battery is relativly new, i buy it like 3 months ago.

It's a great ROM but there's still some wifi & BT issues. I don't ask for ETA but I only want to know when these issues will be fixed? Or what we can do is WAITING?

Missing "Manage root accesses" under developer options

After a clean installation (flashed MIUI 9.6.27 first) of LineageOS Sep 19, I can't seem to find "Manage root accesses" under developer options.

After format, advanced wipe, I installed Lineage, Open Gapps, and Magisk 19.4. Now all three working ok, and I was able grant root access to AdAway and Titanium backup. But can't seems to find manage root accesses under developers options.

So Installed "addonsu-16.0-arm64-signed.zip" from this LineageOS page, through TWRP. Though the options is still missing. It's not even displayed as greyed-out option, it's just not there.

On the "Trust" screen, it says, "Root access: Disabled" right below SELinux: Enforcing.

Many thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

Try to flash magisk. Or maybe you prefer using super su?

Thanks for the reply. As I have mentioned in my previous post, I have flashed Magisk 19.4 right after LineageOS Sep 19, and Open Gapps Pico Sep 19.

They all seems to be working fine... except there is no "manage root accesses" under developers options.

Could anyone that have LineageOS Sep 19 or later installed, please confirm whether you have this "manage root accesses" option available or not? Even if it's greyed-out, as in my case, it's not just there.

Here's I'm posting a sample picture (obviously not mine): https://i.imgur.com/l3owFfY.jpg

I can't see that option here. But here it's showing root access is disabled, though I didn't try to flash the root add-on yet.

Thanks. That's exactly what's I'm getting on my phone too... even though I have Magisk, and later AddonSU installed.

Does anyone have "manage root accesses" displayed under developers options either with Magisk or AddonSU... Thanks alot in advance.
