Running into bluetooth problem with sound quility on Galaxy buds +, for phone calls, and Whatsapp calls. Spotify and Youtube works great. I tried changing the Bluetooth audio codec from aac to anything else, but the Galaxy buds + doesn't support anything else. Also in the bluetooth menu for the headset I turned off the "HD Audio:AAC" to Off and it didn't do anything. Is there any bluetooth library's that work with note 9 AOSP builds? I know theirs one for "One UI Roms", but don't think it works for AOSP

Hello, Is there any way to get Wifi Sharing feaature???

Like i switch on Hotspot to share my wifi connection?
Cause in stock and other custom this feature is available!
Settings >> Network & Internet >> Hotspot & tethering

But even in Stock One UI, it wasn't about sharing wi-fi, but sharing 'your' data as wi-fi to others. Is that what u were looking for?

In Stock OneUI i am able to share my wifi connection via Hotspot
for e.g i could connect to a wifi and switch on Hotspot to share it with other device far from router.

Now in LineageOS if i switch on Hotspot, its turn off my wifi!

Interesting, i didn't know that, honestly. Back with One UI, whenever i switched on my hotspot, WiFi was automatically switched off for me. If i recall correctly, it'll even prompt me a warning message, something like "switching to data, and turning off WiFi". But that was my experience.

Sent from my crownlte using XDA Labs

LineageOS Websites Offline

the download server seems to be offline today!
hope this will be fixed soon!

same problem for other models too.
Official LineageOS statement from https://mobile.twitter.com/LineageAndroid/status/1256821056100163584 :

Around 8PM PST on May 2nd, 2020 an attacker used a CVE in our saltstack master to gain access to our infrastructure.

We are able to verify that:
- Signing keys are unaffected.
- Builds are unaffected.
- Source code is unaffected.

See http://status.lineageos.org for more info. {bold by me}

This is awesome, I have been using it for 2 days now, no issues whatsoever.. Huge thanks,
bluetooth, calls, sms, hdmi, usb, cameras, spen, battery life everything is working nice
i like the new mouse cursor for the spen,.

few questions:
1- is it possible to have this on top of twrp recovery instead of the lineage recovery? and is it recommended?

2- is there any way to increase the font size of the ambient display text?

3- first time to use Trebuchet Launcher, and I am quite satisfied, I wont be using Nova launcher no more. is the space at the bottom of the screen below the fixed icons intended?

Re 1) AFAIK it is also possible with TWRP, but LOS recovery is the supported recovery.

Re 3) I have not seen such a large space at the bottom on the devices where I used Trebuchet in the past. It might be due to the high screen resolution of the Note 9. Personally I prefer the Lawnchair Launcher. That one does not show this large gap.

P.S.: Did you notice any change in battery runtime after installing LOS? Is the battery lasting longer, shorter or same as with stock?

Thank you for the answers that definitely helps.. I suspected that, it felt so.. I hope this gets addressed. although its not a big deal.

I used to mod my device quite a bit, but realized I didnt use most of the features, so this time I am sticking with the stock launcher, It satisfies me.

sorry I am coming from an AOSP unofficial lineage build, its been a long time over a year since I used a one UI, and I have been without builtin gapps for over a year (although I have youtube vanced and google maps installed) without the google frameworks..

my battery life was already great on previous ROM, on typical use, it would last me the day. I would plug it to charge before bed the battery would just hit 15%, and I use my phone quite a bit, on days when I would not use it much it would last over 24hrs
but with this one its even better, I would plug it with +30% for the second day. I made some screenshots.
can't tell how much screen time i had on it in the last 24, 11hrs seems bugged. but still this rom seems best rom yet for battery life. I am using the april 22 build again not gapps flashed.. give it a try!!
