LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Important information:
This thread is for official LineageOS 15.1 builds for Huawei G620s/Honor 4/4x(msm8916). The following will not be supported here:

• Custom kernels
• Mods
• Xposed

Baseband requirement:
If you can't hang up, install this baseband via TWRP and it should be solved.

We don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:

• Flashed a custom kernel
• Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
• Modified system files

Installation:
First time flashing LineageOS 15.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?

1. Download the zip(s)
2. Install a compatible Recovery, e.g., my TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-touch-recovery-t3309504
3. Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
4. Wipe data/factory reset
5. Flash LineageOS
6. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package, install the SU addon package(https://download.lineageos.org/extras, choose arm)
7. Reboot

Both mokee and linegage os are not working on cherry same problem phones goes of after bootup with a slight freeze in bootanimation

They perfectly works for some people(including me) and don't boot for someone else. I mean, if it doesn't boot on your device, give me logs (logcat and /sys/fs/pstore after screen off) so there's a chance to fix it, otherwise no one can help.

the lineage-15.1-20180808-nightly-cherry-signed.zip is working perfectly. i guess after that build something changed in device tree or source.

I flash the Lineageos 15.1 into my Honor 4x (Che1_CL20) and restart system. After the boot logo appeared, the screen turn off and no response for a long time. BTW, TWRP is TWRP_3.2.3-0_O_cherry.img and the Lineageos 14 is ok.

我在Honor 4x （Che1_CL20）上刷入 Lineageos 15.1后，能出现Honor的开机界面，Lineageos启动界面能出现很短时间，然后屏幕就变黑，长时间没有任何反应。我的TWRP版本是TWRP_3.2.3-0_O_cherry，我直接刷入Lineageos 14一切正常。

My G620s-L01 is stuck in bootloop after installing LOS 15.1. Had to go back to 14.1 and it still works.
