[ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 15.1 for Huawei G620S, Honor 4/4x

They perfectly works for some people(including me) and don't boot for someone else. I mean, if it doesn't boot on your device, give me logs (logcat and /sys/fs/pstore after screen off) so there's a chance to fix it, otherwise no one can help.

Here is the logcat I take it right before my device bootanimation freeze and phones goes off

Read all posts on pages 611 & 612 regarding rebuilding your emmc using QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader). You may want to ask for help from @x.akshit as he has experience fixing emmc on phone with the same Snapdragon 410 chipset as ours using QFIL.

See also post #6043 re. using QDLoader 9008 software. Firehouse file in my link posted there (rebuild file specific to Snapdragon 410, ie prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn) will probably be good for either software.

For everyone unable to boot/flash/set lockscreen password, reply with your EMMC name & manufactor id, they can be grabbed with the following commands:

cat /sys/devices/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0\:0001/name

G620S-L03 with bootloop at logo. Went back to last LOS14.1 build, here are the mmc0 details:

I think, it's some kind of error, cause when you actually download the file it's 352MB

@ dianlujitao is there any fixes being done by you in this build? The problem some of us have been facing regarding the rom not booting up

Yes, cherry is for Msm8916, officially or unofficially supported.

@desalesouche was working with @Blefish last year to port y550 to lineageos official kernel for cherry (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-huawei-y500-t2923318/page529 post #5286) but this was never achieved.

We do have unofficial cherry for Y550, which you have, maintained mainly by @desalesouche.

He is working to compile Los15.1 for Y550, but as he has mentioned, he needs to update y550 kernel with audio and other commits (he has already pushed some in his github) to be able to compile oreo without error, and has asked @felix-development to help. See his posts on this page: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-huawei-y500-t2923318/page523

If you read recent pages in that thread you will become familiar with what has been happening in Y550 development. All best, PW.

Sadly it's still stuck on a bootloop. I'm using G620s-L01

G620S-L03 still on bootloop on today's version, went back to the last LOS14.1 and will keep testing. If any special testing such as custom build can be useful on this version of the hardware I'm more than willing to try.
