Boot Loop

For everyone unable to boot/flash/set lockscreen password, reply with your EMMC name & manufactor id, they can be grabbed with the following commands:

cat /sys/devices/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0\:0001/name

version 14.1 works fine so i now rollback i wait for fix

G620S-L01 boot logo stuck

Hi,
my device is G620S-L01
and I installed build lineage-15.1-20180827-nightly-cherry-signed
first it does give an error that said
This package is for device: c8817d,g620s,C8817D,C8817E,G621-TL00,G620S-UL00,G620S-L01,Che1-CL20,Che1-L04
then i delete the device check part from updater script file
and tried to install again
it was installed but now
It stuck on the boot logo and gets restarted

Also i tried to install Mokee build MK81.0-cherry-201808300426-NIGHTLY. and
it's like that

Yes, cherry is for Msm8916, officially or unofficially supported.

@desalesouche was working with @Blefish last year to port y550 to lineageos official kernel for cherry (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-huawei-y500-t2923318/page529 post #5286) but this was never achieved.

We do have unofficial cherry for Y550, which you have, maintained mainly by @desalesouche.

He is working to compile Los15.1 for Y550, but as he has mentioned, he needs to update y550 kernel with audio and other commits (he has already pushed some in his github) to be able to compile oreo without error, and has asked @felix-development to help. Can i use Lineage OS 15.1 cherry on my G760-L01? I am using Lineage OS 14.1 cherry but with an extra adaptation file. Do i need a new adaptation or only rom is enough?

in this build lineage-15.1-20180830-UNOFFICIAL-cherry
battery consumption is high
Lineage os 14.1 has better battery usage
I don't know it's because of android oreo or just this build

i installed OPG Pro and decrease cpu frequency and did other optimizing
now battery usage decreased but still more than lineage os 14.1
i don't know maybe my battery does need a calibrate
but i think this build has battery draining problem

I installed the unofficial build on G620S-L03 and so far it works perfectly, although it's identified as L01 but that's probably only a cosmetic issue, I doubt it'll affect anything.
Will update if anything comes up.

I calibrated the battery, but it still has a high battery drain
for now i have to go back to Lineage os 14.1
I hope this problem will be resolved in the next builds

Did you fix g620s-L03? Were you able to try / use QFIL to rebuild emmc? (Good guide here: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-22466.html.)

Do you need programmer files lacking in stock Huawei Qualcomm ROM (ie. prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn, rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml)?

I'm interested if someone with QUALCOMM HS-USB QdLoader 9008 hard brick has success fixing emmc on cherry device. Thanks, PW.

Hello, now after a few days of use LOS15.1 I can say that I have several problems which I did not have on LOS14.1. In addition to the increased battery consumption (about one day, almost three days before), the phone has been restarts while watching movies in the YouTube app. Everything updated.
