I have no GPS Problem it works perfect on G620S-L01 (tested with GPS Satellites Viewer app, finding GPS and Glonass satellites) and Tomtom Navigation works perfect, and even radar warnings are just in time before reaching.

If 3 pin works fine, 4 pin headphones probably have broken wire(s). Extra pin is for mic and button. PW.

?? Thought you said "I got problem with headphones(4 pin jack) ... There is no sound" and "other headphones with 3 pin jack work fine."

Looks like Superlux HD 681 EVO also has 3 pins in reviews online. This is a basic headset with no extra electronic components, and only the impedance may vary from other 3 pin headphones you've tried. Evo is 32 ohm, others you have may be 16 ohm, but I'm fairly sure 32 ohm is most common. Other than that, the only cause of problems can be bad / broken connection in headphones, plug or adapter cables.

I can't see that different firmware would affect what impedances are accepted, and as headphones are plugged into a basic analogue amp circuit no other difference can be detected for 3 pin headsets, but there are several different standards for 4 pin headsets with mic / button (different resistances, different mic types, presence of series diodes etc in common to 4th pin circuit only), and it is not unusual to find incompatible headsets made by other OEMs (these will have nonworking mic or button, or produce false button-press signals).

With 3 pin set, you could roughly check impedance (test resistance between common pin [nearest cable] and right pin, then between common and left pin [left and right are middle and last pins] with a multimeter), and compare result with working 3 pin headphones to see if your phone is fussy with 32 ohm sets, or if you see much more than 32 ohms. (Resistance and impedance are different, but resistance tested should be close to impedance spec values). Hope it helps, PW.

Hi,

If some users have tested, what do you think of speed/reactivity on the G620S-L01?

I also have a question regarding unlocking: the wiki page at lineageos.org says to visit an official link which is no longer valid
Visit Huawei’s official unlocking website, you’ll be asked to login first.
What shoud I do?

So I googled a bit and understood that Huawei is no longer providing unlocking codes
Some websites that seem trustworthy offer to pay $5 for an unlocking code (unlockhuawei.com). Unfortunately they cannot provide unlock codes for phones with Qualcomm chipsets, which is the case of the G620S-L01!

I'm ok to pay a couple of bucks, but is there a workaround?

G620S-L01 is supported by DC-Unlocker people.
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/supported_models_1/huawei_phones

I posted info here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-huawei-y500-t2923318/page618 posts #6177, #6178.

Exerpt:

Some Good News (potentially):

I checked with DC Unlocker people whether they can continue to provide unlock codes even after official unlocking support has finished. Evidently they can.

Conversation went [Check original post] ...

Y550 (my Huawei Ascend model) is supported by DC Unlocker, and they quote 4 credits (4 EUR) to read bootloader unlock code. (Also, 4 credits to unlock SIM, if you wish).

Their tutorial is here:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code

I've unlocked both Y550 bootloader and SIM using DC Unlocker previously without problems.

It seems this method will continue to work at least for legacy devices, albiet at a small cost (SIM unlocking price was also the best I could find in the past), and this is a reputable / professional service, so this may be the best or only option for new Y550 custom rom users (and other Huawei owners).

Please would anyone using DC Unlocker after today confirm that it does still work (for new Custom Rom users).

Hope this helps you and other new users. PW

Edit: Here is an hours old XDA article on the subject:
https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-honor-unlock-bootloader-fee/

The https://funkyhuawei.club alternative to DC Unlocker is pretty pricey but. PW
