Yeah I had that on the previous build to. It required a hard reboot a few times.
I still have it with current build.

P.s. I am traveling at the moment but would be more than happy to help out by creating and supplying log files etc.

Me too. Probably a bad kernel though I would expect to see more people mentioning it. Happens on firmware from oos 5.0.4 and 5.0.5. my phone is encrypted and i wonder if that is what causes some of my problems.
Just before I left for my trip I actually installed the 5.0.4 firmware as I was not sure I was at it already. I thought that maybe my firmware was causing it, but still have it. Using the camera and attaching pics to messages on whatsapp seem to increase the chance of solid hangs. My phone is also encrypted.

It would be great, if you can also open a jira ticket on this, when you're home again. Thank you very much for offering logs!!!

Having all information in one place is surely more usefull to get down to the cause then these endless "me too"-cascades.

Latest stable, not using beta channel. I'll try it out.

**Edit**

Tried the latest beta and it's still not working when the Magisk Package is hidden. Tried opening Titanium Backup and it just hangs out at the Detecting SU and BusyBox splash screen. The prompt to grant SU permissions never comes up. Superuser list in Magisk is empty as well.

I had the same issue as you. I found out, that there is a mounting issue, when data is formatted as f2fs. I formated to ext4 and the issue is gone for me.

Has anyone else been having issues with qcom_rx_wakelock blocking their OP3t from entering deep sleep? This is a friend's phone, so I can't immediately check things aside from telling him to generate bug report zips that I can run through Battery Historian, but this was a similar problem that the Nextbit Robin had, which eventually resulted in said wakelock being disabled in the Lineage kernel.

Something is wrong with camera in last 2-3 builds. Device is likely to stutter and even lock up after taking several photos. I'm using modified gcam.
Does anyone have July builds?

Try Arnova's v8.3b1, he tried to fix that issue.

For me too, it is something wrong with the camera in the latest builds. I tried Arnova v8.3b1, but it seems the same. Also, the default camera is the same.
Only camera that worked for me is the OnePlus camera (apk from apkmirror).

Does anyone know how to enable HDR in OnePlus camera? All it can do is HQ but not HDR.

I recognize your problem. I've been having similar problems with all builds starting August 14. I get slowdowns and in some cases even reboots, when using apps using the camera (not just gcam) or apps with a lot of web views., like Palabre. The August 7 build works fine.

Two days ago I tried the latest version of FrancoKernel (version 42), which didn't solve the problems. After that I decided to try FrancoKernel version 41, since that one was built before the problems started for me with LineageOS. So far everything has been super stable. I'm still trying the v41 kernel out and pushing my phone to see if I might reproduce the problems I had frequently before. It might be worth investigating if applying the LineageOS kernel from August 7 on the latest LineageOS build would have the same result.

I just tried Arnovas gcam v8.2 and don't see the problems you're having. It would be interesting to see if your problems disappears as well with the v41 kernel.

Apparently arnova gcam works fine. I also installed front camera fix. Will further test with Instagram and other camera apps.

Shame - I hoped to catch you - I did the same thing and had the same result.

Now back on Oxygen Open Beta and remembering what I liked about it. Flashing the original recovery and then ADB'ing the image over was painful, but back now!

For a while now, settings indicate my sim is disabled and cell icon disappears from the status bar, even though I still have service/data. This is not a sim issue, this is an OS issue. I can go into recovery and wipe dalvik, cache and data, reboot and system shows sim is enabled and icon has returned. I don't know if this is a LineageOS code issue or device tree code issue. So what can I do/get to help solve this issue?

What mods are you using? When did you last clean flash?

I am running:
Caesium Kernel, latest
magisk, root but no modules
andromeda/substratum with just a few overlays enabled (for non system apps)

Well, the only advice anyone can give you is to nandroid and then clean flash with no mods. If the issue is gone it's not the ROM. If the issue remains, logcat and open a ticket on Jira. (The issue will be gone of course and the last part will be unnecessary. I bet the house on it.)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Important information:
This thread is for LineageOS 15.1 builds for OnePlus 3/3T. The following will not be supported here:
    • Custom kernels
    • Mods
    • Xposed

We don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
    • Flashed a custom kernel
    • Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
    • Modified system files

    Tips:
    • SELinux works in permissive enforcing mode
    • You need at least OxygenOS 5.0 firmware, otherwise you'll get error 7 when installing the zip. Latest firmware is recommended.

    Installation:
First time flashing LineageOS 15.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
    1. Download the zip(s)
    2. Install a compatible Recovery (Latest official TWRP is highly recommended: https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplusthree.html)
    3. Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
    4. Wipe data/factory reset
    5. Flash LineageOS
    6. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
    7. Reboot

Is it possible for Project Treble to be implemented? I was thinking of using the extra space from /bt_firmware (1GB) for /vendor. Thanks.

Sent from my OnePlus 3T using XDA Labs

OnePlus is evaluating official treblized Oreo, now the key problem for them is how to make Treble migration through OTA, according to their engineers. We have a 1.5G unused partition which can be used as /vendor. I don't know if they'll eventually make the change, but as they have positive progress on that, personally I suggest not to do 3rd party experiments in case breaking compatibility with the (possible) incoming official Treble builds.

deep sleep issue will be fixed in the next weekly

New build is up. What you care most, video recording is fixed.

Oneplus already said they wont suport treble for oneplus 3 https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/join-our-oneplus-5t-ama-now.686679/page-9#post-17146313

so why not develop 3rd party suport for treble?

    You have 2017 news, I have 2018 news:p

btw full treble is impossible with the current camera driver, see https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...mmit/030ee5d902fdbabd85d827a8598a3fb7fe37fc7f for ref
