gapps should stay just like you manually install an update in recovery
tbh I always do clean flashed but since they release once a week I'll try this for now. thanks guysflashing ota (and all dirty flashes for that matter) will restore your gapps. Just think of an ota update as an automated dirty flash.
I was on stock Oreo and there was no issue with Dash charging. Once I installed Lineage nightly, I am observing this. I don't think there is a hardware issue. I am currently on LineageOS Version 15.1-20180305-NIGHTLY-oneplus3
I am not sure if there is an issue with this nightly specifically?

Is it possible for Project Treble to be implemented? I was thinking of using the extra space from /bt_firmware (1GB) for /vendor. Thanks.

so why not develop 3rd party suport for treble?
