Just a minor observation on this otherwise great ROM. The audio output on my headphones seems to be pretty high (loud) as a default and it is my impression that it might be a bit distorted. It is certainly louder that running stock firmware or some GSI. It also seems to have a different frequency response with the mid to low frequencies sounding boosted. I can reproduce using VLC and playing the same piece of audio while switching the audio output in VLC's settings (Audio -> Audio output : AudioTrack | OpenSL ES).
Just installed. Great ROM very smooth. But how to use fingerprint reader?
plus model is not supported as i dont have it and i couldnt blindly fix sepolicy for fingerprint reader
I flashed for the first time the OMNI rom, but i have a problem
1. I have unlocked the Mipad
2. I have installed twrp
3. I have flashed rom zip+gapps
I reboot and i have a decrypt issue as screenshot
EDIT. wrong recovery, solved
I read about using nano-gapps, can't i use "stock" version? i prefer gallery, phone, contacts,ecc app from google

you can install any gapps you want. nano version is recommended because it's minimal , then ppl can install whatever else they want from the PlayStore.I flashed for the first time the OMNI rom, but i have a problem

Sure, because I use restore from the cloud I prefer that these apps were be replaced, if not I have all duplicates

Duplicate app might occur only if you change the package name manually.
That one makes sense though. One of them is the stock AOSP messaging app, and the other one is Google messages app. Should not happen for apps like Maps, Youtube, Photos, etc.
I know, i talked about stock package because remove all the aosp apps
Someone knows if is possible to watch Netflix in hd?

No. this is to do with Widevine L1 licence which the device does not have or any other Xiaomi product from my knowledge.
it only has L3.

L1 does 720 and above.
this is only for DRM content. not like free youtube things.

Makes no difference.
As the article I linked to says, Xiaomi updated the Poco over the air to allow hd DRM stuff. It still.isnt approved by Netflix but Amazon videos and most other works..
The technology isn't as simple as a rom install.
I'm afraid you are out of luck for the mi pad 4 to get this feature.
If this feature is a must, there are other tablets on the market that do meet the requirements.
