Been using this ROM and am loving it, although I've run into a few issues.

I have that power issue where you have to hold the power button and reboot it after the first boot. This wasn't always the case as two or three nightly builds ago it would reboot once after the 1+ logo screen, and then boot up without having to hold down a button to do so.

Installing apps through F-Droid brought up an error after a while. Uninstalling and reinstalling gives an "out of space" error. I don't have that many apps and have had more on other phones. Other ROMs on the A0001 haven't given me this issue and I'm not sure what it is.

Features I'd like to see eventually are a black theme and superuser in place of supersu, but I can live with it.

Other than those minor issues the ROM is awesome.

For me latest nightlies have drained faster and my phone has ran hotter. Was not able to pinpoint the reason.

@maxwen @scanno
Just wanted to ask if you would consider adding vibrate on call answer in the phone app to the ROM please. I would really appreciate it instead of listening to ringtones incessantly when calling a contact

never understood the reason for that :p
but for 5.1 there will be no new features so you need to wait until feature dev will start for 6.0

wow ,herna posted a M build on AFH.
Just search for find7op and you will find it .
Let me ask a question before I flash it :
What's not working ?

e.g. Radio

This is by far not daily driver ready. So I have no idea why he did this. But just to be sure - no bug reports against this! Not even a single word here :)

Small bug I'm experiencing, when you put the menu key long press function to open/close menu, it doesn't work properly. It however works if set to single tap of menu key. The menu shows up but as soon as you lift your finger off the button, it disappears. Normally the menu UI remains so you can use it. Not a big deal at the moment I'm just using the virtual menu keys as I prefer menu key to open recents, but just FYI

But I can say that we are making good progress for 6.0 on find7 and find7op
Broken radio is the most noticable problem at the moment.
Aside from that proper testing needs to be doen before we are
going to provide first test builds to you.

Yeah known issue - the fix was never merged into 5.1 thanks for reminding me.

Found another small bug involving torch. If you turn on torch while at the lock screen using the QS tile and turn off screen. The torch will never turn off (using tile or gestures). Likewise if you use the v gesture while at the lockscreen, unlock phone and lock it, it will never turn off unless you reboot the phone.

    Flash at your own risk!

    IMPORTANT:
Since 5.1.1.-20151021 nightly we changed the vendor files to find7a including camera. If you have Problems with a recorded video file you can fix this maybe with this Link ! So far it's tested with VLC on Linux and Windows Media Player on Windows 10. It worked like a charm :) !

This is a very cool thing ... you are now able to install OPPO Camera and use the awesome 50 MPixel feature :) -> Link

    3. Wipe partitions.
    4. Flash the Rom.
    5. Flash Gapps.
    6. Wipe Cache and Dalvik.
    (7. If you need it flash SuperSU.)

    Reboot your device.

Hi guys, I've made an unofficial homebuild synced up to today's modifications (you can check omni's gerrit to see what's new). It's straight and pure sourcebuilt omni 5.0.2 without any modifications. Many thanks to @scanno for helping get everything straight to achieve a working build.

    Here's the link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934524918

I'll try to build once or twice a week (unless our devs do it before) in case that helps the team anyhow, letting them concentrate on coding if that's their desire.

    Cheers :good:

Switching from one of the test builds to nightlies requires a clean flash!
