Remember that issue I was having with Android Pay being “insecure”. Well as it turns out, apparently Google also says that I do not need to unlock my phone. Like why?
Interesting, to me that doesn't seem right but what do I know. I keep my NFC turned off just to be secure regardless but this sounds really insecure to me.

iam just asking the reason behind it , it's better if it's weekly or something
Number 1, thank you developers for bringing this to our devices solely on your own time without asking anything from us in return (tadp0le).
Number 2, there are upstream changes all the time by multiple devs as they find and fix bugs. It is not always the individual devs cooking the ROMs for us dictating the release dates but even if it were, remember they do this for us with no expectations in return of anything and solely out of the goodness of their hearts.
Number 3, as others have said, update when/if you feel there has been something you lack that was fixed in the code (from reviewing the changelogs) and if nothing was changed you care about, then dont update. No one forces anyone to use opensource AOSPs so update when you feel it's appropriate and don't update when you feel it's working well enough for you. Again, remember these ROMs are brought to use out of the goodness of the devs hearts with no expectations in return.
I personally test each and every update to test out the stability, features, fixes, etc., but I do this, doesn't mean you need to.
