I always disable password or pin before flashing in twrp. Then you shouldn't have to enter a password in twrp.I have a problem... last month I clean flashed Pixen 11 over OOS 10.3.6 on my OP 6T without any problem and followed every step. Now I want to dirty flash the december update, but twrp is asking me for password to decrypt? I dont know what I should be doing to update the rom...
You will probably need to format if you don't deactivate fingerprint/ pins. But I don't ever put in a pin in recovery. There might be other methods. That's just what works for me. Always make a backup! The option for password might still be there but not necessary to put one in.You mean if I just deactivate all fingerprint and pins from the device and then reboot into recovery, it won't ask for password in twrp? When I googled for this issue, I just get results that I need to format my device![]()
Just use a pattern for screen lock and all your problems will be solvedYou mean if I just deactivate all fingerprint and pins from the device and then reboot into recovery, it won't ask for password in twrp? When I googled for this issue, I just get results that I need to format my device![]()
yea its on beta, just found there's a new update, lets see if it fixes itVery weird, I clearly don't experience the same problem (see screen recording) with phantom touches but the large 'deadspace' is normal.
What I also noticed however is that you don't have the little arrow in the bottom left AND your animations for opening and closing they keyboard are far more polished than mine... Are you on the beta for GBoard by any chance? If not, what version are you running? (Im on 10.0.02)
(zipped screen recording because apparently you can't attach .mp4 files)
What Magisk version did you flashed? Debug or v21.1? With v21 upwards it is imposssible to have both TWRP and Magisk installed beacuse phine boots to crashdump.I dirty flashed the Dec update. I flashed the ROM, rebooted to recovery and then flashed magisk. I have both TWRP and magisk installed.

No. I think it's a problem for all A11 roms on 6/6T. Some say that after OOS 11 update it can be resolved.is the Camera crash fixed? Thanks
When going from 10 to 11 it is recommended to do a clean flash!!Hi. Can I just flash Pixen OS 11 over the top of Pixen OS 10, or do I need to flash OOS first and start fresh? Thanks.

It may work for dirty flash, but how about clean install? According to OP, in order to install Magisk, TWRP should be uninstalled first. So my question is the same - In order to have both TWRP and Magisk, should I uninstall built-in TWRP, install Magisk and then TWRP?I dirty flashed the Dec update. I flashed the ROM, rebooted to recovery and then flashed magisk. I have both TWRP and magisk installed.
