Hi, Sorry if I made you angry. I did read it. That was the reason I was asking.
I wanted to install it from the play store and not the resigned apk file. Thanks again for your help.

I am not angry, don't worry. I just thought the description in the thread was pretty clear. If you install the resigned apk version, you'll not be prompted with update notifications from Play Store and thus you are able to use QuickPic without any Cheetah Mobile stuff :)

Enough off-topic for now.

Apologies on my side! I wonder where else to ask these questions – I'm sure I'll find out ;)

One other issue I'm having (I think this fit's in the thread) is adoption of the SD card.
Android wanted to format it in order to merge with the device storage, which I did. All it said was the SD card may be too slow (Samsung EVO 1) – When I reached the peak and wanted to install Pocket Android said "Not enough space" although the Storage settings say there's pleeeenty of space. What went wrong? Am I the only one here?

Thanks!
This isn't a software fault. Where did you get the SD card? Several places have been known to sell fakes

as I recall @ashwin007 said some tristate stuff has to be worked on before going to nightlies.
This is a shared commit between the oneplus 2 and oneplus x. The dev working on cm for the oneplus 2 is waiting for official release of oxygen os 3 (marshmellow) so when kernel sources will be released and merged in the cm repo official nightlies for the oneplus 2 will start rolling out. Hopefully then the device tree of the oneplus X will be also accepted. If not it will become a waiting game till marshmellow sources for the One and X will be released by Oneplus.

Till then you guys have the unofficial build thanks to Ashwin. Anyone can build cm with his device tree and latest CM commits, there are enough guides on XDA how to do it. No need for him to keep feeding up to date builds unless something on the hardware side gets fixed or optimized by him. [emoji6]

I'm new to this thread. I was thinking to install this ROM after rooting my phone. Is it fit for Daily Driver and how is the battery life ? Are there any bugs left ? Lastly with this ROM , will be able to install the updates as OTA or I need to flash every time some new builds arrives ?
Please ignore if you find some of my questions lame.

So is there a bug with noise cancellation mic? Because i see people complaining sometimes that the person on the other end of the call hears lots of background noise (except when you are in a quiet place of course), but if it really was bugged then i guess a lot more people would be having that issue? Does it affect everyone or just a few people?

OTAs do not work just yet, nor will any of that CyanDelta CM Update crap (because this is an unofficial build); it is a perfectly useable daily driver no doubt. It's been stable for months. Camera works, GPS, Audio, Phone, Bluetooth... LED customization doesn't though, and there's several small bugs that may be a big deal to some. You'd have to browse through the thread to figure out what those are. I've been using this ROM for over 2 months now and it keeps getting better with every update. OP does a great job.

I honestly have not felt any difference in battery life, in comparison to Oxygen. Now, I use Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Facebook Pages Manager, Whatsapp, Twitter, and bluetooth on all day long (moto 360 + OBDII + Audio streaming to my car). So my battery life expectations are always low. I know I could uninstall some of those apps and get a much better battery life, but this is how I use the device. I barely make it through the day, but it was not noticeable better in Oxygen. Most people here seem to agree this build gets better battery life than OxyOS.

Cheers and welcome.

Is the now of tap feature working for u guys...? If yes what could be the problem with mine?
Try Settings -> Apps (under Personal) -> Tap the Settings-Incon -> Default Apps -> Assist & voice input -> Assist app -> Select Google App. Then the Now on Tap Option is enabled in the Google Settings. I know it's a long way of clicking, but it's worth it.

Is "Okay Google Everywhere" working for you?
