What is this?
PixelExtended ROM (or PEX for short), is an Open Source Custom ROM based on PixelExperience, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation)

Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential and useful features missing in Pixel Experience, The ROM will keep it's Pixel ideologies it's primary focus and wont stray into the dark and deep void that is bloat.

FLASH INSTRUCTIONS:

Before flashing any rom, make a backup of your data!

Pre-requisites :
- Brain and ability to READ !
- Update your device to OOS 13
- OOS 13.1 - 13.1.0.500(EX01) firmware is required --> Download
- Gapps included so no need to flash/sideload GApps

NOTE:
It is recommended to flash the firmware before following the rom installation guide
in order to flash the firmware, you need to install a recovery, which can be the blki one or the TWRP / Ofox (I recommend one of these on XDA)

Clean Flash (If comming from OxygenOS or from anyother ROM):
1. Download and Extract flash_utility package zip from "A13.0 Flash-utility" --> Download
2. Reboot to bootloader & connect your phone to PC
3. Double click on flash.bat
4. Reboot to recovery & Factory reset > Format data/factory reset
5. Back to recovery home page & tap > Apply update > Apply from ADB
6. Now sideload rom using command adb sideload PixelExtended-lemonade/p-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip (lemonade for op9 or lemonadep for op9p)
7. Reboot system. Profit.

Dirty Flash :
1. Reboot phone to recovery.
2. ADB sideload PixelExtended-lemonade/p-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip (lemonade for op9 or lemonadep for op9p)
3. Reboot system. Profit.

Rooting:
1. Download Magisk.zip
2. Reboot phone to recovery.
3. adb sideload Magisk_xxx.zip
4. Reboot system. Profit!

Clean Flash:
1. Download boot.img from Here
2. Reboot phone to bootloader
3. fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Reboot phone to recovery and FORMAT DATA
5. ADB sideload PixelExtended_lemonade-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip
6. Reboot system

Dirty Flash (only if you are on an previous version of PEX):
1. Reboot phone to recovery
2. ADB sideload PixelExtended_lemonade-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip
3. Reboot system

For root:
1. Download Magisk
3. Reboot to recovery
4. adb sideload Magisk_xxx.zip
5. Reboot system

heads up, the only approved, "safe" way to install magisk now is to patch the boot.img with magisk. you can get it pre patched or do it yourself, all i know is there are problems expected if we continue to flash the zip in recovery.

Hi guys,
finally a new update !
unfortunately for those who are on the previous version, they have to do a clean flash.
In fact I have changed the trees to the new LOS19.1 so you have to start with firmware A12 C48 (remember C48 and not C60)
it is the first release with these new trees, but the rom is very stable.
If you want to try it, find the changelog in the second post
together with the changelog, in the same post you will find the flash instructions

Thanks for your work. Is Always On Display missing? Can't turn it on properly. Lock screen switches to dark mode with clock and info, but after a couple of seconds fades to complete off state.

Audio quality on max crackles and don't know why my banking token app stopped working the second day.

audio crackling is a common bug for all roms using the new 12.1 trees
so please be patient until it is fixed.

as for banking, there is no problem whatsoever. i use the apps and payments and tokens daily. make sure you have magisk hide set up properly

SafetyNet passed but no luck. I cleared cache etc from gpay and every google system app.
Installed the fix and it's working now after a reboot
