hi i was trying to install new update with Gapps (Aroma) on OnePlus A5000 but donno why it doesn't installs the update tried clean flash tried after installing new firmware but all in vain tried Gapps (Mini) got installed and also booted up but I can't connect to mobile data Plz help me after flashing new update the perivious version also gets broken (mobile data)
can you give me how to on my device and fixes for mobile data your reply will be appreciated

Mobile data as it seems your flash messed up the modem.
Do a full clean flash and only install ROM, then boot up. Check if everything is working, then take a back of EFS and Boot. Then flash your gapps, reboot. Check if everything working fine. If anything is messed up (in mobile/Sim /wifi), restore the efs backup. Only if boot order is messed, restore boot.

last release is running GREAT! battery life it back to 9's standards. it did fight me on allowing installs from unknown apps, but built in file manager got me around that (rom doesn't like root explorer for some reason). haven't found any errors. only had one crash in a week but i'm pretty sure it's from a mod apk. i can't really complain about anything. maybe match rr button in settings to logo color (classic).

U can take either gapps or non gapps build n jus flash it and magisk if needed. Thats all no firmware needed as its already included. Simple.

This rom ver. 8.6.1 is working great, Previously I was using Oxygen OS based on Android 10 on my 5T, it was quite buggy, many times I didn't get Call notification ie No indication that call is coming, no vibration. This ROM works fine on 5T, also fast / better than Stock Oxygen OS, Many customisation features. Great work guys.

hey guys! loved rr during the nexus 5 days and after a long time, i came to this on my oneplus 5. i have a few questions, would be glad if you can help me out!

1. when i tried to install the systemless oneplus launcher by shadymods, it would get stuck at the powered by android and 1+ logo screen - had to reinstall as i had forgotten to take a nandroid backup - do you have any idea why this could have happened?

2. is it possible for you to introduce a feature where the app drawer remembers where i last was when i opened it? when i open the app drawer it defaults to the top row

3. i am unable to use payment related apps - particularly google pay, phonepe and paytm here in india. any idea why this is happening? they used to work well in my previous custom rom. i ve hid them in magisk and the like - not sure why this is happening.

4. can you include double tap to sleep feature on lock screen? instead of using an app for that....

5. spotify keeps logging out randomly - is this something you are aware of?

that's all in 3 days of usage - love the customizations and overall feel and look, and i'll definitely be trying it out for some time to come for sure - if the above queries are addressed i think i ll have found the perfect rom! especially number 3.

- stop using battery sucking apps such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat (also better for your mental health)
- reduce brightness to the lowest possible for you to be able to see
- stop playing games all day
- switch to 2G when connected to WiFi
- replace your battery. It's a 3 year old phone.

Don't expect miracles from a custom ROM in terms of battery life. It all heavily depends on your usage.

I did switch to nova and it's better now. regarding #4, sorry if i was misinterpreted - I meant double tap on the homescreen to lock the phone...not double tap on the lockscreen....is there any way of doing that? i know there are apps but if it's in built that'd be great!

Again Nova launcher can do this.

Go to gestures then set double tap to screen lock. I use Nova for that also, great launcher. So many customisations.

How about double tap status bar to lock...

thank you! just did it. i just have one final question - in the recents menu, the close all apps is showing up at the extreme left, i.e. before the last app seen when you swipe to the right.....can i have this show up at the bottom of the screen, or at the right side, so i don't have to go all the way to the last app? thanks again...

Install OnePlus launcher via Shady mods. Download quickswitch from the Magisk downloads section.
In quickswitch, select OnePlus laucher as recents provider.

1. Try the below op launcher 4.6.5 n see if that works perf for u. For me even systemless op launcher did work good, hope u picked the latest 3.0 in that.

2. This is launcher specific i am not sure the inbuilt launcher will come with this one. And its source side thingy so maintainer can't edit it afaik.

3. Maybe try hiding magisk manager first and then hide magisk apps in it. Also hide google play services fully if u see that only some functions of google ps will be hidden so hide it completely. It will work then for me phonepe worked well. View attachment 5114563

battery animation

In settings > battery, there is an animation of the battery with percentage that you can tap to get battery usage stats. This animation somehow changed from a standard battery icon to a circle with waves. I've looked everywhere and can't find how to change this or how it was changed in the first place.

Anybody have suggestions?

Hello guys, First of all, I'm in love with this rom ......
But I've been lately facing some network drops ..like the mobile data is on and there's LTE symbol. Still, browsers and apps are not connecting to the net...ive tried cleaning cache, installing latest oos modem , clean flashing everything.....any help is appreciated!!

Is this rom having the usual volte call issue(not receiving call sometimes or cant make a call),I have JIO Volte enabled in my first sim and I am seeing this bug popping up on almost every rom.Can anyone please confirm if its here or not because I need to switch from the buggy oxygen os 10 to a custom rom!!?
