so i got this fixed by using the titanium app to clear the data of the camera.



although i have this question if the phone does not support HEIC why the app show that option to do?

Hi all,



Just flashed this rom to my 5T, very nice!! But I have 2 problems, when I connect it to my laptop over usb and select USB file transfer on my mobile, it does not show a drive under explorer. My laptop makes a sound so it recognises a new device, but is unable to detect the file share?



The second problem is the long press on the home button to open the google assistant, this does nothing, it shows some animation but nothin opens.

I installed the google assistant app from the play store, and if I open the app, assistant is working, but not the shortcut on long press.



Many thanks for creating this rom and any tips on how to resolve the above.

Not sure on the first issue, driver problem?

2nd issue go to Settings - Apps - Default apps and set Google as your assistant. That will resolve that issue.

Had that problem also.

I believe the current default camera app is a place holder so end users can add whichever gcam they want.

After I swap in a new battery I plan on switching from stock to this ROM and using one of Nikita's GCam's with dotfix

Don't think it is a driver problem, was working before the ROM flash, and it works in TWRP.

I just have an issue with Google backup, i have to disable pin code in order to run Google backup. If i don't do that it stuck in "waiting to back up", any Idea how i can resolve it ? (RR install after a clean flash).

Follow this guide to resolve it. I had this issue after clearing Google Play Services data:

I just got one issue with Philips hue app, it crashes when i open it the second time. Also, on first launch, it works but if i go to philips hue updates options, it closes.

GCAM

I just installed the Nikita GCAM and dotfix, gcam is working now with the front camera.

Just one question, in the vieuwport I have 2 white circles, and I can switch between them (above the shutter button).

They seem to do something with the preview image, with the left selected the preview is very shoppy, with the right selected, it is fluent. But I don't see any difference, anyone can tell me what it does?

EDIT: Found that is are the two camera's on the back ID0 and ID2, I do not see many difference, Anyone know what is the best one?

It's the devices codenames.

I use the old gestures.

I do this my turning off the navbar in RR customisations (not all ROMs have this option which is needed).

Then I use an app called Vivid N.G. to use the original OnePlue gestures

Flash OpenGapps (nano) or Flame Gapps (basic).
