I had the version TWRP 3.2.1.2 vendor, I searched and found a version 3.2.2.0 and with it works!

Note: ROM is prerooted, enable it from developer options.

ATTENTION JIO AND OTHER 4G USERS
when your clean flash crdroid on redmi 4a First tiime. jio users and other 4g users did not get network signal at first boot . so here the fix just follow my steps carefully.

1) Go to settings /

2) Tap "Networks & Internet"

3) Tap "Mobile networks"

4) Tap "Advanced " you will see preferred network option

5) Go to preferred network option the select option 3 " TD-SCDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE"

Voila now wait a sec jio 4G network will come and volte will work thats all"

Q: i need flash firmware before installing this rom ?.-
ANS: no iam already included suitable firmware in rom ZIP . so don,t worry about firmware..

Q: rom support OTA ? .-
ANS: Yea you will receive every weekly..

Q: Crdroid support VOLTE ?.-
ANS: Yes supported.

Q: I have Installed Crdroid my redmi 4A volte does not working . what i do ?.-
ANS : make sure check preferred network as LTE and enached LTE mode enabled . if still does not work create a apn ims .and reboot device . thats all . if stil volte not working then persist data may broken. if your persist data broken do edl clean flash..

Q: dark video recording fixed ?.-
ANS : yes fixed .

Q: Crdroid will work on BOE lcm based Redmi 4A ?-
ANS : yea BOE supported.

hello everyone!
I'm new around here and I got this interesting, I try this rom v4.4 for few days and it's good.
then I face several problem.
- random google apps/services keep stopping when touching things about it, sometimes but annoying, or force close. I do not know if I do something wrong like wipe dalvik, cache or factory reset.
- smartlock combine with ambient display bringing freeze on display unable to touch after screen wake. things except bring down the status bar. if use one of those problem are gone, but I would like to use smartlock on-body detection. sad.
- running with infinity kernel causing some things went wrong randomly, sometimes. I don't know if it only me or I do it wrong.
- wifi mac address changed! most annoying I found, I cannot connect to wifi that request mac address. how to change it?
- 0 brightness is like 40% brightess on xiaomi rom. easy to see at day, too bright at night. night light doesn't help.

overall, this rom is reliable for everyday use. :good:

Hello, The pre root isn't working anymore in this new build and I have tried to flash SuperSU. But after successfully flashing I don't find the SuperSU app. Or neither the Magisk is flashing. Everytime it ends up with a error 1 ( can't mount /vendor). So what I can do. Please anyone help me!!

I redid all my instalation: version TWRP 3.2.1.2 vendor, last maj crDroid:
impossible to install magisk: black screen reboot.
with su ad: ok
but with the last shift the xprivacylua restrictions make the applications crash. (worked with previous version)

Bug on Compass or Google maps malfunction

I found a bug using a compass or Google maps app the magnetic sensor has malfunction i tried many to calibrate the compass but no lucky please on next update

remove sns.reg located in /persist/sensors/sns.reg.
restarted and recalibrate (make 8)

probleme boussole :
supprimer sns.reg qui se trouve dans /persist/sensors/sns.reg.
redemarré et recalibrer (faire des 8)

Installed this ROM yesterday. All seems to work flawlessly, thanks!

Just wanted to point out that wiping /system before flashing the ROM is very important. At first I ignored this, and upon boot Google apps kept force-closing. Then I wiped /system, re-flashed everything and all is well. Maybe this helps someone.

Also, wanted to clarify that if you use OpenGapps.org, as recommended in the OP, choose the following options: ARM64, Android 8.1, pico. Worked for me!
