@iam_delan0,

After 3 days of use I find this ROM to be stable enough to be my daily driver. Compared to Oxygen OS 12, this ROM is such a delight.
Do you have a recommendation on which camera app is best suited for this ROM? Am I right to think that it is currently not possible to get all the stock camera functionalities working?

Thanks for the effort and I'm looking forward to see what else lies in the future!
Donated!

I'm glad you're enjoying the rom.

If you've got telegram, we've saved a GCam there in the notes which works well.
Currently, all the lens work for photos, just 4k60 videos are broken on OOS12 based customs.

Thank you for the donation :)

you could try this one: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/
I use the latest stable version (marked red) together with the config for OP9pro

I have an EU device, do I just install C.47 EU version in stead of c.48 GLOBAL? or do I install the GLOBAL version (not sure if that would even work).

edit: oh lol I prompts for C.48 after updating to C.47. Didn't know because I always ran A11 based roms.

If you have the EU version, you first install C.47 and then do the OTA update (through system settings) to C.48. You must unroot to do this.

Then follow this guide up until and including the copy-partition step. This ensures that both slots have c.48

After that, follow the installation steps provided on the first page

If fastboot does not show devices, this guide might explain why OnePlus drivers don't install correct fastboot drivers. I learned the hard way: DO NOT reboot into fastbootd (adb reboot fastboot) because reboot into bootloader (adb reboot bootloader) does not work.

Also if you want to PM me for help in Dutch, that's cool; I also had help from people here

When I charge the phone via USB plugged into computer, it charges very slowly and heats up the phone a lot.

Is there a work around it? Plugged into wall charger, it doesn't have this issue. Please advise.

Thank you in advance!

maybe it depends on PC USB port
do you nave a typec port or are you connecting to USB 3.0 port?
check the one with flash icon on it

It is USB 3.0 and yes it has flash icon. Other than that, everything is working perfect. Beautiful rom!

When I plug it in my car charger, it charges normally and doesn't heat up. Car charger probably 2.5A output.

if you can,
I thin you can try visiting a pc store, lug your cable to one having type-c port
if it says "slow charging" the problem is on the rom, if not, the problem i think is on your pc
(but in any case, if you keep connected to pc for long time, charging slowly should be most safe for the phone,
i mean, personally i am working about 10 or more hours per day, connected via usb-tethering, i prefer seeing slow connection)

Hi there! Just installed and taking it for a test drive. Might make this my daily driver. Way better than ColorOS 12. Only issue I have is that Auto Brightness doesn't work. Any way to get that working? Keep up the great work!

OK so I download the zip, and adb always says "cannot read". SHA1 hash checks out. what gives?

OK, figured the 64-bit ADB problem out..

But now the rom is running.... There is so much right with it, but there are some glaring wrongs as well...

Proxy sensor for when you put the phone to your head... not working! Screen stays on and buttons are pressed all over the place!

In-call Bluetooth has echoing issues and sounds robotic, almost unintelligible, and gets worse the longer the call. Tested in 2 cars... same thing. Bluetooth audio for music is perfect.

Some games (asphalt 9) crash right after launch... lemme know what you need I'll dig up logs if I haven't already re-flashed to something else.

Android auto has been covered, and I could root and systemize it, but.. meh...

Basically it's awesome, until you try to use it as a phone. 😒🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

after using MSM tool are both slots occupied? or should I use the copy partitions zip 1st?
my understanding is that you would need to update until C.48 and then use copy partitions zip, so that you have c.48 on both slots afterewards.
you could also manually update to c.48 two time. that should have the same effect.
if you can find the correct update files for c.48

You'll need to get your device back to stock Oxygen OS first. Use msm tool for your phone (lemonadep - OnePlus 9 pro) which is available to find on this forum. You'll also need to download the stock Oxygen OS firmware which OnePlus provides on its website. I can't remember if it's best to use 11 or 12? Can anyone confirm?

Then, proceed with step 1 after your first reboot. Hope that helped a little?
No need to use msm at all...

I'm pretty sure the required firmware is included in this package, no? So I don't think there are prerequisites

From one custom A12 to another or to A13, just use the firmware flasher (preferably C63, found on Nameless or CrDroid OP posts) then proceed with the instructions (flash boot/dtbo/vendor_boot, reboot to new recovery, format data, sideload rom, and gapps+magisk)

I will keep an eye on this thread for a while and see what peoples reactions are such as battery longevity and whether i can use it as a daily driver.

Or you could just flash the ROM and help the developers with your feedback. People have different usage patterns and battery life is subjective to each person. I thought this was already obvious to people, but it seems I was wrong.
