Maybe if you modify those settings, things will be better, but I don't like to root the phone so for me all those settings are disabled :/

I can tell you without fear of being wrong, that since I've been on Miui, the battery in sleep mode is much bigger, the sound is louder and of better quality, the fluidity is the same, the battery in use is slightly better, the only thing that I don't like I like it is having to adjust so many details to avoid having ads, that they take my data or the use that I do and that I like the experience and the pure aspect of AOSP.

Without forgetting the camera that there is no comparison.
Honestly, not to sound stubborn, but when you tweak it, gcam becomes way better than the stock camera (I use the BSG port @ Version 8.1, my config is attached). Also sleep mode is better in MIUI? That's weird news for me, since my phone when I was running miui, could hardly get me through the day, thanks to the buggy gallery app... How many hours of Sot are you talking about there? And how many hours of idle time in total?

Don't worry, everyone has their own experience and we give our opinion according to what we experience, you don't sound stubborn.

In miui with each setting configured and without having a phone full of junk applications and having only telegram, twitter and discord as social networking or messaging apps, the battery drains between 1% and 5% depending on the day, but I would swear that this 5% was only the first day. (in suspension)

With LineageOS with android 12, either with nikgapps or mindthegapps, with Pixel Experience or ArrowOS with android 13, the battery drain in suspension has been very large, from 7% up, with Pixel Experience being the worst by far.

It may be that I do something wrong when installing a custom rom, but I follow everything that the pages say step by step, with the latest firmware, I have tried to install it from Windows, Fedora and Ubuntu, but all the results are the same, except that with Android 13 the phone does not heat up excessively, but when I used android 12 either with Lineage or Pixel Experience, the phone heats up which is nice and the battery vanished without realizing it.

It surprises me, because Miui is a much more loaded system, but, it is my experience, I also tell you that I am from Europe and I use the eea version of Miui that perhaps this leads to better optimization due to European regulations.

Regarding the camera, I can tell you the same thing as with your experience about the adjustments you made, surely you will have a better experience in Lineage than with Miui, I do not doubt it.

I am usually a sleep watch and I usually sleep between 6 or 8 hours, in that time leaving the phone on, these last days since I returned to Miui (less than a week ago) the phone does not drop even 3% in suspension.

The total time with the screen on varies a lot depending on the phone and the settings, but I think the most relevant thing is that I use the phone at 60hz and I think it's important to mention it, anyway, watching videos on Youtube I don't think it affects too much, generally with ambient brightness inside my room we're talking about 8 minutes or more for one percent battery at 1080p 60fps playback on Youtube, playing, depending on the game and if I'm away from home or on home wifi, it can go in the worst case to 3 minutes for one percent, up to 6 minutes for one percent.

I doubt it can compete with your data though, because good cpu settings are key.

I mean honestly, been running Lineage for more than a year now and like... Having a gallery that doesn't suck up %70 percent of the battery is nice... Really my only complaint is the video stabilization. Also I'm getting better battery life with Lineage actually. And also better performance. I just undervolted and overclocked the gpu a bit (587MHz -> 905MHz). Games run better, gcam setup works for photos... Overall better than MIUI I think
One small question, how did you manage to undervolt and overclock your phone? I want to do the same to achieve better performance in games, if possible can you explain how to do this?

Hi guys, that is a goodbye to this thread.
Sold my 10T pro and bought a 12T pro yesterday.
I'm impatiently waiting for lineageOS to be available for 12T pro
If you want Updates you shouldn't blame lineagos ...you should blame Xiaomi and Not buy the next Phone fromm them which will have the Same Problem in round about 2 years ... Customs keep dead phones alive... But Xiaomi is Not developers best friend

What are you talking about ?
Don't try to gess what I might have meant in things I did not say.
I did not blame lineageOS nor said not complained about updates, and I really don"t blame them. Otherwise I would not target to use it when it will be available
About Xiaomi not being devs best friend, maybe, although again I'm not sure what you are thinking about, anyway they are not their worst ennemy either, they allow bootloader unlocking, which is not the case of many other manufacturers.

Your Post suggested Something different can
really ??? Let me clarify what I really meant then :
Hi guys, that is a goodbye to this thread. = > I mean goodbye because I am leaving this thread.
Sold my 10T pro and bought a 12T pro yesterday. => I am explaining why I am leaving : I don't have a 10T pro anymore, I sold it. I bought a 12T pro.
I'm impatiently waiting for lineageOS to be available for 12T pro => I like LineageOS, and will probably install it on my new phone when it is available.

Sorry for that sooo ambiguous post ;)

A word of advice... Hopefully someone finds it useful.

I had MX Player installed on this ROM and it increased battery consumption by at least 30% even when the app wasn't being used. I thought I had made a mistake in updating to the latest version until I deleted it and battery went back to normal.

FYI, Aves is a very good gallery and doesn't drain the battery just by being installed.

Besides LineageOS, is there any other Android 13 custom ROM out there for Mi 10T Pro?
If you go up a level to https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/xiaomi-mi-10t-10t-pro-roms-kernels-recoveries.11629/
you have found them yourself by looking for 13. ;) For example:

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11.0 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Hello. Running the latest build on my Mi 10T Pro and everything is smooth as heck. Way better than any custom ROM I've tried and even better than Xiaomi.EU.
But my only issue with it is that in the Play Store > Settings > About > Play Protect certification, it's listed as "Device is not certified". Because of this, I can't download some of my banking apps via the Play Store and some other apps. I don't want to sideload APKs. I contacted Play Store support about it and they couldn't help me. My Google Services Framework Android ID has already been registered so I should be certified.
Do yours indicate the same and how have you been able to resolve this? Much help would be appreciated. Thanks.View attachment 5362653
This basically means your device currently doesn't pass safetynet.

Fortunately this is quite easy to fix. Follow these steps:
    1. FIrst of all you need to root using Magisk.
    2. Then you need to install Magisk module "Universal SafetyNet Fix" and "MagiskHide Props Config".
    3. Install any Terminal of your choice from the Google Play store.
    4. Open Terminal, type "su" (without quotes), grant SuperUser permissions.
    5. Type "props" (again without quotes), select "1 - Edit device fingerprint".
    6. Select "f - Pick a certified fingerprint".
    7. Select "30 - Xiaomi"
    8. Select either "27 or 30" (which is either 10t or 10t pro).

Follow the onscreen instructions then reboot, make sure that google play services is currently checked in Magisk hide and you should be golden.

    Enjoy!
