Good evening,

is there a bug in the date usage statistic? My P5 say i have used 50 (!)GB on mobile network in one month.
In the App history there is a sum of 5 GB , also in the app of my mobile provider.

My girlfriends P5 has used 15GB and in the app of the mobile provider stand 1,5 GB.
Looks correct on my end. That's a weird one.

Does anyone know how to get this to work? It never activates and the calls never get screened.

If you systemize the Google dialer app it will work, there's a magisk module called app systemizer if you flash that and then run "systemize" in a terminal emulator it's very straight forward, when it asks you if you want it in system/app or system/priv-app choose priv-app.

For the June 2nd build I updated through the updater but when I reboot it bootloops til I turn it off, then it reboots back on the old build. Any idea? I removed all magisk modules as well

A1: I had uploaded the reverts while we were still discussing wether we would be able or not to fix the issues caused by this feature (was not tested well enough in the first place). After a supposed fix was found, I've abandoned the reverts meaning they never made it into a build.

A2: The original patches are in, plus the earlier mentioned fix.

A3: https://review.lineageos.org/q/topic:"eleven-bt-sbc-hd-dualchannel"+(status:eek:pen OR status:merged) is indeed the right place to look at. There's also an engineering blog post authored by the same person that introduced the functionality: https://lineageos.org/engineering/Bluetooth-SBC-XQ/

A4: Not sure what you mean. A "topic" of changes perhaps? A "feature bringup" series of commits?

After the supposed fix was merged and made it into a public build and more people than just me and few others could test it, we found out it was broken in specific scenarios (still not 100% sure but i believe it's when the a2dp sink only supports SBC). The same day a solution to this was found, effectively reverting the other fix and applying a better one; it's now merged and will be included in the next build. You can find all the history in your link.
Thank you for all your work.

I reverted to stock because the BT issue but I cannot stand it. There's no flashlight gesture and the clock is on the wrong side. It also runs a lot hotter for some reason. I have to go back.

Do you know specifically which build includes the fixes for BT audio? Wiping and reinstalling is such a long process, too many apps to sign into

App systemizer doesnt work with Android 11. As of now, there is no method of systemizing an app. The folder structure has changed and manually trying to systemize will result in bootloop. I believe the developer of the systemizer has abandoned the project as well.
Well it fails to find the app anyway so I've gone no where. Thanks for the information though.

I would look into opengapps and see if any of the packages include the dialer. If so, it more than likely installs as system app.

edit : I went and looked and the stock and super packages have it, but I'm not sure those are compatible. I'm interested as well, but I don't want to test yet. I believe creating a custom installer would be the best idea. If I do try it I'll get back to you.

I have systemized and de-systemized apps on protonAOSP without bootloop

@f8lxninja You need to use the version from this post.

Post in thread '[MODULE][Terminal] App Systemizer v17.3.1' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/module-terminal-app-systemizer-v17-3-1.3585851/post-84997313

Somebody did a little update so it will work on Android 11 and show the list of apps, this version isn't pushed through to magisk, not sure why but when I flashed the version that doesn't work with a11 I still didn't get any boot loops.
Thank you for sharing that, I did not know someone updated it. Please post back if you have success using it on lineageos.

I'm running protonAOSP I'm not on lineage as of getting this pixel 5 but this version works fine and it's not because proton is built on and older version of Android, I'm on may security right now.

You should reread what I initially wrote, I clearly mentioned "manually". And posting that something works on proton in a lineageos thread isn't what id call relevant, especially since we're off topic to begin with. You didnt give systemizer versions, proton version, nothing. You provided nothing useful. I didnt mean to be an ass, its just irritating with the clutter posts and when people dont read correctly.
That's fine, I was just trying to get the guy a solution to his issue I don't think he needs me to list what version of everything I'm currently running to get his app systemized, just flash the updated file, go terminal and select the app, it works.

EDIT: for record it was working 2 previous versions of protonAOSP too.

@Michu_z, I just updated to the latest Linage+MicroG version (July 4th) and I have the exact same issues as you - no wifi and constantly resetting cellular connection😞

    > I just installed newest LineageOS (7th July 2021) without GAPPS, no wipe - Just recovery mode installation on existing LineageOS for microG (4th July 2021)

Can you please explain this in more detail or point me towards instructions on how to do this? 🙏 And also, do you know what the implications for future OTA updates from this action are? Would I be able to install future OTA updates and would they be from stock LineageOS or from MicroG?
Without ever rebooting into android, do the following:
In recovery, sideload the latest official LineageOS (no microg).
Then navigate to Advanced > Reboot to recovery
Sideload again the latest official LineageOS (no microg).
    Then reboot to recovery again.
    Now sideload your microg rom.

You can now reboot to android.

I searched for boot.img in this topic, but i didn't find an answer: is flashing boot.img necessary when going from stock ROM to official LineageOS? It's archived on sourceforge and the official LOS wiki installation instructions for redfin don't mention boot.img at all.

edit: was/is boot.img the recovery? The command to flash it is the same.

    edit 2: it works. (y)
Yes this device uses a unified boot/recovery partition.
    Corrected the first post, thanks.

I tried to install update via adb, remove Magisk modules, install Cleanslate kernel, nothing helped me. I have hosts file from Energized Protection to block ads. Maybe this causes problem. Can anybody share stock?
My problem is that Android OS keep awake device and i don't know why. Thanks.
I'm running the same build 20210714 with MindTheGapps and battery life for me has been great. I wouldn't class myself a power user so there's no heavy use and leaving it idle from 100% over 6 hours and I'm still in the 90% range

    Hi,

I've installed the latest version of LineageOS 18.1 for microG on my Pixel 5 (July 4th release), but Wi-Fi is down and the GSM network disconnects every minute or so.

I experienced the same problem with the previous release, then I managed to flash the ROM to stock, then go back to working version 18.1 from April 11th.

This time I even changed the kernel to Proton 1.4, it didn't help me - Still Wi-Fi doesn't start and the network is reset every minute, I can't even make a normal phone call.

Does anyone on the forum know how to fix it (maybe a firmware change)?
This thread does not support the micro-g version, as they're not provided by LineageOS.
However you are right that you need to update firmware. This ROM bundles the latest firmware, contrary to the micro-g version.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. LineageOS does still include various proprietary hardware-specific code.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Informations :
    • This ROM uses source built kernel, kernel modules, boot kernel modules (vendor_boot) and vendor image.
    • This ROM bundles the latest firmware so you don't have to worry about updating firmware beforehand.
    • To use the eSIM you need to install GApps
    Instructions :
    • Download the latest recovery image and rom zip
    • Boot to bootloader
    • fastboot flash boot lineage-recovery.img
    • Boot to recovery
    • Format data
    • Sideload LineageOS zip
    • Optionally flash any addons:
      • Advanced > Reboot to recovery
      • Sideload the addons
    • Reboot
See https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/redfin/install for more detailed instructions

    Downloads :
    Reporting Bugs
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/* (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.

    Known Issues
    • Stock Google Camera app crashes in Night Mode or Astrophotography. As a workaround, downgrade to version 8.2.300 or use a modded gcam APK.

    • Feb 2021 security patch
    • Update modem firmware from the T-Mobile factory images to enable 5G Standalone.
Google only did this for T-Mobile images (RQ1C.210205.006), but it doesn't seem to negatively affect non T-Mobile users, thus I'm including it in the generic build (RQ1A.210205.004 based).
