Yes. I did dirty flash from 5.8.1 to unofficial 5.8.2, but I wiped Dalvik and Cache before installing the new ROM.

There is little difference between an unofficial ROM and official one as long as the sources are the same.

Just reporting, rom runs buttery smooth. With the unofficial version I found my max screen brightness to be less than with other roms and I also had to try several times when using the fingerprint reader. I no longer have those issues since switching to official.

Substratum works perfect as well. The only issue as we already know is with the sound distortion which hopefully will be resolved soon enough. I was really considering switching to the oneplus 3T, I'm so glad I waited as development has really taken off for this device now!

I just checked to see if casting the screen works with my chromecast. It did, however, when the screen locks I cannot get it to come out of unlock status. Screen stays black with no function from power key, fingerprint sensor, or double tap. Holding the power button brings up restart menu, and putting the phone into airplane mode or restarting the phone is the only way to get out of the lock screen.

It does work perfectly fine when using apps that support chromecast.
