Guys, I am right now on os 9 . I will like to install this rom and try it out. Do I need to go back to 8.1?

This is a very nice rom, but no longer maintained. So they're will be no updates that would at least include the monthly security updates. Maybe you are better off trying a pie custom rom
That's turn but there are no custom pie ROMs out yet that I know of that has all the features this ROMs has.
Yeah it's going to take a while to get ALL of these options on Pie since this rom has about the most you can get but liquid remix is coming along nicely.
Currently on stock P. Is it safe to flash this to roll back? Unlocked bootloader with TWRP installed and Magisk. Don't know if that matters just providing info that could be relevant.
Flash 8.1 stock with wipe first then factory reset and flash this if you really need Oreo.
Didn't have a lot of luck with a couple of the P ROMs so I thought I would give this one a shot.
Did you try LiquidRemix? Only thing to remember is that this one isn't going to be updated any more.
I didn't try it but I couldn't get a couple features to work. I couldn't get the volume to adjust and trying to adjust in the settings just made it fc. And the alarm clock as well, even using a different app. Maybe it was a bad install.
If you have Xposed, you can use XuiMod. I've been using it since 2014 and it has the same scrolling mods as the rom but better. And it still works on Xposed Oreo.
Thank you so much for the recommendation, however I moved to Pie with Liquid Remix to try a new ROM. I'm going to have to wait until Xposed is out for Pie.
I really liked RR but for some reason all the builds have caused my phone to restart at random times when I switch to landscape mode.
When ypur phone boots back up to the bootloader, just load into twrp via fastboot and reflash the rom & twrp and boot into system. It should work then.
Hey mate, by no means is this an ETA request, but can I ask if you're still working towards RR Pie?

Included Main Features
-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS-
This rom is based on the stock oreo 8.1 OPM2.171019.029 April 2018 rom from Google. The instructions below assume your device is already on that rom. This is important because your device needs to have the vendor, radio, bootloader, and other img's from that rom. So, if you need to, flash the OPM2.171019.029 stock rom first. If coming from previous RR build simply follow instructions.
Taimen factory images
Both TWRP 3.2.0-0 and TWRP 3.2.1-2 have been confirmed working.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Twrp version 3.2.0-0 can't decrypt data if it's secured with pin, password, etc. So, before you begin go to lockscreen security settings and change it to 'none' or 'swipe'.
1. boot into twrp and factory reset
2. flash rom zip
3. flash twrp zip
Reboot & enjoy.
All builds from here on out will be completely Root-less. We have decided as a TEAM its best to let you the users decide what you want on your devices. So if you want/need Root access please flash either Magisk or SU.

Anyway, Ive been working hard with the help of @pimpmaneaton to get RR up to date while some of the team is busy with exams and work. Some cool stuff has been added with more on the way. OTA has been fixed also.
Should have an update out for yas in next couple days. Stay tuned! Thanx for supporting RR!22Ok guys..sry for the delay. I wanted to wait till we had April patches merged in. Also updated the kernel. This build has some added goodies. OMS now works completely root-less. Some new QS tiles: Google assistant, Google sound search, and Google feed. Pulse Lava lamp start and end colors(BTW the lil circle icon in upper right of that menu page will reset to default). Ambient display battery info at bottom of screen. Square battery icon form OmniRom and a couple more lil things. Also, OTA is fixed. So from here on no need to DL form here. Cheers guys. Thanx for supporting RR!!
I want to take a sec and give a BIG SHOUT OUT to @mac796 who was generous enough to donate a XL2 to the RR team. Until now I have been building for this device blind and sending it to him and a small group of others to test. I have deleted the RR source on my computer and am now working on a Pie rom. Hope you all have enjoyed what I did with RR.15OP thread and OTA has been updated with a new build. Sry for delay guys. The reason I havent updated build is nothing really has been added to RR source till now. As stated before whole RR team has been really busy with life stuff. But we've been busy when we get a chance. We managed to merged some new features to RR source. SmartPixels, QS transparency, QS animations and interpolaters, recents grid and lock just to name some. Gapps have been updated too. Google Camera is built in and will update without issue. Google GBoard built in too...to give a more "stock" feel. Wanna give a shout-out to @pimpmaneaton.
