Enabling CRC check

And what about the possibility to re-enable the SD card CRC check in ThunderZap I wrote earlier? Is there any possibility to turn it on? I like speed, but the data reliability is more important. So is there any solution besides kernel recompilation?

No other solution. You'll have to clone the source, revert the commit and compile the kernel again.

Thanks for your reply!

So, the only reasonable thing to do is kindly request Varun to make disable CRC check function as a configurable option in the next ThunderZap version?

Varun, please?..:)

Its just the Hotplug Governor having the issue it locks it to Max Frequency while Interactive observed for a while worked well..

I'm testing the interactive governor (CyanogenMod 13 with original kernel) for two days now, and I confirm, that for now CPU always go sleep when the screen is turned off. But it seems that when the phone is waken up, the CPU is almost always kept at highest clock, which unfortunately also doesn't have good influence to battery condition.

I'm using CyanogenMod almost since I've bought my Sparkle V, but I still don't manage to solve the problem with high battery drain. And I'm getting run out of my ideas what to do to solve that. I'm getting close to start testing the stock marshmallow with some adds like Exposed Framework.

Does anybody managed to solve the battery drain problem on CyanogenMod 13? I'm even not sure if guilty is kernel or any higher level OS parts...

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
    Code:
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Note: You need to flash the package right after you install the ROM. If you boot up and then go back and flash it, your phone won't boot.

    Reporting an issue

    How to report a bug:
    Requirements:
    • The nightly system data must be totally untouched. No Dolby Atmos/Viper Sound thing/Xposed Installations allowed.
    • Kernel must be the one that's shipped with build. Bug reports on any custom kernel won't be entertained.

    Data needed in the report
    • Nightly which broke something
    • Last known good nightly which doesn't have the said bug
    • Logs attached: dmesg, radio log, logcat, screenshot if visual artifact.
    • Best way to replicate the said bug
    • Bug type: Only device bugs will be considered.

DON'T EVER REPORT SAME THING AGAIN

    Regarding Video Playback breakage:

It seems a change for QCOM devices has yet again broken something for us. It will take some time to get rectified.
    You can track it here:
    http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/124251/1

But till then, a temporary solution, just push the lib in the zip to /system/lib and reboot.

I have added some fixes to the 'Death in deep sleep' problem. Flash the following boot.img

    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087016596

Let me know if you face the problem again after flashing this, I need to merge the fix in CM nightlies.

    hi.
i dont know if i should ask it on this post but i am still going to ask sorry if this is off topic.
i have edited the hosts file.
    which is in /system/etc/hosts
i have added about 30000 to 60000 bad sites and add servers to the hosts file and size is around 9mb.
i wanted to know is there any way by which the host file can be merged with the latest nightly?
i am attaching the hosts file its inside the attached rar file

No, it will never be included.
