hi @Nalinish@05 , i hv 2 variants of mido. the 4gb and 3gb. both are running pe13+. the 4gb variant FP working perfectly and appear as 'Face & Fingerprint Unlock' under Security setting while the 3gb variant only appear as 'Face Unlock', no FP. so the FP doesnt work. i tried los20, crdroidandroid13, arrowos13, cherishos4.2 but none of these support the 3gb FP. only the stock rom can make it work. appreciate your help on this. thanks in advance.

There wasn't a big warning sign that the OTA update offered to me (on build April) won'T work... I've installed it and my mido isn't usable any more.
I re-flashed the version of January 2023, but now I can't switch off Wi-Fi and the buttons doesn't work anymore. When I open a program, I can't terminate it.
Can anyone offer an older build of PE Plus, such as Feburary 2023 or the last April build before Retrofit? I can't backup my chats or anything, so deleting everything and reinstallation is - at the moment - no option.

Edit: nevermind, i cleaned the phone and reinstalled everything...

Hiii... I flashed the latest (current) A13 Pixel Experience roms for my mido 4/64

I tried both, standard and plus edition
PixelExperience_mido-13.0-20230504-0142-OFFICIAL.zip ,
PixelExperience_Plus_mido-13.0-20230504-0249-OFFICIAL.zip

both flashed with the latest (current) recovery advised (PixelExperience_mido-13.0-20230504-0142-OFFICIAL.img ) ...
Format data and sideload mode

Both roms work very very smooth and each function I tried works as it should, flawlessly.

But nevertheless with both there is a constant very high power drain. Checking CPU-Z , the 8 cores are always running at max, 2016 MHz , no matter what I'm doing (or not doing) ... so btw the phone is always quite hot. And battery stats (in android) show Google Play Services as the only real ones liable for this excess consumption (always around at 40% of battery) ... (although I admitt as well trying to kill Google Play Services it would not seem to stop 8 cores to run always at max)

Also I noted the recharge is very slow, I mean though it shows "Quick recharge", it is actually very slow. (Maybe the phone is not able to recharge rapidly just because in this contest it drains almost all the power that come in, so it recharges very slowly... I thought in my ignorance)


Now, before posting here, I searched the web and found also about others that experienced this problem (Google Plays drains the battery,etc...) All similar cases, or even identical to mine, but anyway related to other ROMs,etc... So I also tried, some tips about, but unsuccessfully

And since I'd like to keep this 13 PE rom on my mido, any new advise to solve would be greatly appreciated

Anyway after several attempts to try to fix this problem, I had to take it off, what a shame... it was a so smooth and working rom in all else. Hope the problem will not stay in the next release too...

Or rather, from what I understand, maybe I directly wait for the release of july ... hoping that it will fix the problem. Also because I just saw the developers are already aware of this. Hope it will be a fixable problem.

probably due to dynamic partitioning
