been banging this one (the android 12 rom) for almost a week on my mido.
overall working great and stable, all settings and stuff is doing pretty well.
hotspot, wifi, ril, radio, nearby share, camera, accessibility settings, yeah basically everything in the rom is working fine.
Have to add that this is the first custom rom I try for my mido that doesn't affect my internet speed / signal (data plan, no wifi) I'm getting the same speeds as in stock rom which is something I couldn't in LOS and ArrowOS, so everything great!
Going deeper into some minor issues...
1st. Some messaging apps as Discord have some audio issues when using a wired headset in voice chats. I have
this one by philips and somehow the rom or the app or whatever in the audio system manages to send back the voice from the mic into the headphones in real time (sort of what happens with that windows feature to hear your mic and check if it works), it's so weird and doesn't happen in stock rom (flashed stock to try) so I can discard hardware issues, this is only happening in custom a12 roms.
Going in detail when plugin in the headset, it's detected and app settngs updates to reflect the change to headset, sound goes to the headphones but the headset mic does not work, voice is captured from the phone's mic instead.
If you try to switch in app-setting from headset to phone then it's the counterpart, you can speak from your headset mic but audio from others will go to the phone's speaker. And still you can hear your own voice going from the headset mic to the headphones.
None of the in-app settings nor even the android settings and tweaks could help. If anyone knows anything to solve this issue please hit me up, as I said I've tried to flash stock miui again and the issue does not happen in stock.
2nd. "At a Glance" settings under "Home Settings" have no fonts showing in both dark and light mode:
it's a small visual issue not much to worry about, I googled that settings page from an original pixel to get an idea of what the settings are meant to do, so everything ok, wanted to report just in case.
Actually I'm not sure of the other three settings are these ones, I only needed the first one and it works as expected.
That's it, other than those minor issues, overall a good rom, kinda low in performance compared to LOS19 but it's comprehensive since this one aims to put the "pixel experience" in our hands, and it's been a good time since mido released so the rom works like a charm for what it is and what mido's capabilities are.
Thank you very much for the good work here and I'm looking forward for a stable a13 release
