guys.. I flashed android 13 build but I used orange fox recovery to flash rom and i did not use the format option. I simply wiped data. Now it is stuck at boot animation and it does not go to recovery mode as well. Can you please help?

if you can't enter fastboot mode, use a test point, flash miui firmware using the miflash tool

Installed Android 12 rom... working smoothing. How do I decrypt the rom since by default it's encrypted.

When I tried the v13 it asked me to enter the unlock pattern of the previous user. I also tried to use my google account to proceed but it said I need to use the google account of the previous user.

Anyone experienced the same and how to resolve?

p.s. also tried the v12 and have the same issue... not sure if it is bcoz I am using TWRP instead of other recoveries?

(Sorry I understand why - I used another account on the device before and Google only remember that account - if anyone face similar issues you may try your historical accounts).

Impressive ROM as always. I just updated to the latest A13 and it is still smooth as I remembered. One thing that's bothering me though is that I can't seem to encrypt the phone. When I click, it doesn't show the popup for encrypting the device. It is still in beta so I expected bugs. Can this be fixed in newer updates?

It's not encrypted by default. Just backup all your data then format data from recovery and then just clean flash the rom.

I'm looking forward to this as some banking apps check for encryption status and currently using root to spoof it, but it's a hassle hiding root so I'd really prefer being unrooted. Also, the addition of dirac sound really made me settled on this ROM. I haven't found any bugs so far so it's really stable for me. RAM management has been superb too even for 3gb. Thanks for the amazing ROM.

Hi, I understand this is just a noob kind of question, but I like your ROM, and want to use it, but my device is on Android 7 MIUI OS, can I still install it, or do I need to first update to your earlier versions?

There's a big gap under search bar on home screen where the on-screen navigation bar should be. It disappears when enabling gesture controls. Is there a way of getting rid of this gap without using gesture controls?

Any chance of providing alternative download links?
Github limits speed to like 40KB/s and a couple of minutes after that it just straight up errors out.

Edit (things I have tried):

• different browsers (Chrome/Chromium, Firefox, Edge)
• Rebooting my router
• Changing DNS
• Fetching through wget and curl

everything failed, Github acts weird and is just not reliable enough for release downloads...

After trying for something like 30 times it eventually didn't throw a 401 and completed.
Just keep in mind generally that Github can be extremely inconsistent and unreliable for large file releases downloads.

Tried PE+ for 4-5 days (I'm on mido 4GB RAM version).

Extremely laggy overall, especially with anything that includes scrolling (eg Google news when swipe right on home, Play Store, etc). Tried reflashing (both times it was clean flash) with no improvement.

I initially thought it's probably just mido not being able to handle Android 13 due to its age.
But after trying the latest LOS by zeelog it's a completely different experience... so there's definitely room for improvement with PE.

Same Experience here as @Joakpa , only with Mido 3 GB version. initially thought it was because I didn't delete the internal storage but it won't get better. For now, I will stay on my 4 GB-device with PE Android 10...

Looking forward to the next builds
