[ROM] "Official" SuperHero v2 Is Out!

I have the same issue it pisses me off to no end.

EDIT: So if I encounter this, basically I have to take out my sd, reflash to cmod so i can do sdplit for clean reformat, then reflash superhero? And to avoid this bull**** next time I run apps2sd at startup, click move apps to sd, wait 5 mins, click move dalvik, wait 5 minutes, exit app, reboot?

Please verify this process cause if I have to do this again one more time I might throw this phone out the window.

have yall tried taking the battery out to reboot, that is what worked for me. when it powered back up, it didn't loop

easy take the cover off the back of the phone, rmv the battery, rplc the battery, put the cover back on, and press the power button. give it time to boot and it shouldn't go back into the loop. mine didn't loop when i did that. try it before you knock it.

taking the battery out is the only way to escape the boot loop anyways - i put it back in power on and still f'ed up

i just reflashed to cmod and repartitioned with sdsplit, about to alt-s superhero full in a sec

don't work HTC toggle widget...

I set on BT,GPS,WiFi and Data widget.
and BT and GPS widget don't work.
when I click it, it shows force close.

my browser doesn't seem to acquire location even though google settings are in place. uninstalled and reinstalled and still got nothing. flash player doesn't work either. did a library get deleted out of beta2? these worked fine in beta 1.

That's not exactly true.
You can do the three finger reboot: hold down MENU, the RED button and the GREEN button at the same time.

so is this for the g1? and if i have a uk 1.5 on a us g1 can i do this to my g1? sorry for all the questions just wanna do fun stuff wit a kool phone, great work on all these builds guys =)

I keep getting this error when I try to flash , I did the wipe first then :

Had same problem. New SPL didnt flash corectly (try to flash diferent recovery image than spl) or you didnt flash new at all.

Okay so from the first successful startup of superhero i ran apps2sd, clicked move apps to sd, waited 5, moved dalvik, waited 5, and now i'm about to reboot - should i pull the batt or just power off?

Just press QUITE and after reboot the phone
You can use home+menu+back combination

No just means this is the official superhero thread, not that anything with hero is official, you must root that G1 first before u can do anything to it, check the stickys on how to do that or search for the info.

1.how do i get the weather widget working.....its says cant activate something....i can see the actual widget but i want 2 change the celcious to fierenhiet or however u spell it
2.when i use apps2sd i have 2 wait 5 mins. to close and reboot and if i do that will that put everything i dl after that will go 2 my sd card?

So i got the rom workin it seems fine except during the setup it said "low space" so i ran apps2sd and moved apps and dalvik to my 1g sd, after that i began getting the same force closes over and over which mad it impossible to do anything so i removed the battery then it got stuck on the G1 screen so i had to wipe and reflash to fix anyone know whats up?

Do you have your partitions correctly done?? I had the same problem, start with freshly formatted ext2 partition.

Wipe>Flash
After boot> go to APPS2SD click "move apps"
superuser should come up...
click always allow... [
B]give it 3/4 minutes [/B](you won't know when it's done and yes you will get force closes .. probably alot of them)
after you gave it some time..
reboot
do the same with dalvikcache.
reboot again

And you should be good!
