Oh sad to hear, had a similar problem with my Pixel 4a, 3 weeks after purchase the purchase of 315€ I dropped it, and it immedatly cracked its screen. Repair would have costed 150€, but thankfully my state had just in that moment a "rather repair than replace" event going, where you got 50% of the repairbill reimbursed by the state, so it wasn't to bad.
But hey, atleast now there is a chanec again, to get an option to swap the navigation buttons and enable 180° degree rotation of the home screen, one of the few last things I miss from my xiaomi.eu rom of my Mi4C.

Sorry to hear your poor 6 crash. I've been looking at 6 (no pro) and "in the hand size" of 4a is perfect and I can't decide on 6 size... I really WANT the 6 camera though. I guess when 6A comes out might buy it then when 6 $ drops.

1. This is bit of a sad news that after switching away from Pixel 4a few days back I accidentally deleted my own patch files (commits) of GoogleSystemUI port (Pixel experience like). Hence those 2 features were dropped and if I get time to repick and adapt them to the rom source I'll do it in future.
2. Now playing on lockscreen along with pulse after song detection is still present.
3. For weather on lockscreen I have switched to OmniJaws. Hence you need to enable it from
a. SuperiorSettings -> Lockscreen -> Weather -> Weather Display toggle
b. SuperiorSettings -> Lockscreen -> Weather -> Service settings -> Enable it -> Select update interval -> Select Weather provider to (The Weather Channel) because that is where google takes it from
Doubly make sure you give "Allow all the time" location permission to OmniJaws app from Settings just in case it's not given by default (it should but I don't know in dirty flashing & test builds) or else the weather won't get updated in the background.
That's all it. Those who are sad about the loss of dropped features stay on May build xD I'm doing my best to find time for ROM work. Cheers!

I've updated by dirty flash and got this error message NFC/eSE/eSIM firmware update. This error keeps showing after every reboot.

This happens only once after a reboot right?? Tap copy crash log URL and send the link from your clipboard. I'll look into it. Actually i have clean flashed the build as the phone was on stock. Also method of dirty flashing please.

Dirty flash was via sideload, rebooted to recovery, apply update, adb sideload...
Same error in Pixel 6 was fixed in March build of CalyxOS - googled it. May be same solution is applicable for us.

I'll check, mean while you can take logs via adb logcat from your computer and can attach it here.Crash log is impossible to have - one more error...

June factory then clean flash, no crashes on device to device data transfer. Root and then this log.

Phone was idle for a hour, saw your message, then display on, when into settings to get rid of locate my device and change security swipe to display. I can't stand that and this happened. I don't use device at the moment.. Just saw your message...so technically same "power on no reboot session" as my last post.
Edit1. I am not able to help at the moment... I'm busy for hours. Hopefully another current build user can help?
Edit2. I let bake for 8 hours and used for 45 minutes, no more crashes...ymmv

I updated through the updater and haven't had any issues. I've also rebooted just to test it out but I'm also not rooted. Thank you for the update, I really didn't expect it that quick

By the way is it possible to turn off Location notification in right bottom corner? It appears very often..

In weather settings page use the "nownew" icon pack. Which is pixel like.

This is strange is this happening after rooting the device? I'm using the build for almost 10 days but no such issue. That's strange. Yeah that toggle doesn't persist. The location indicator is new one so included it. Might remove next update. Until then you can use the toggle. Will try n implement scramble pin thing.OMG! Yes, I'm using root. Magisk 23 + increment in boot extracted from payload.
I've flashed rooted boot just after flashing firmware.

Did you use android-prepare-vendor project or adevtool project?
I'm asking because I'm trying to build AOSP for this device, and it sees I don't manage to extract these blobs properly (I get an error during AOSP build about sepolicy) with none of these projects.

User search in settings "torch".@Jayant_Deshmukh it's a small thing.. But would you be able to add Long Press Power Button Torchlight again? I find this so convinient and I am missing it a lot
