Curious if people install every nightly update or do stick with whatever version you are on if aren't having problems. I flashed the 10/01 nightly about 10 days ago, having been on stock Nougat since buying the 713 almost 2 years ago. Have only had a couple minor glitches which did not reoccur. I'm inclined to stay where I am unless there's a compelling reason to switch.

Guys, the battery problem is reported here and the maintainer is willing to debug. I can't get a hold of the tablet anymore, as it's not mine, to do such experiments. Could maybe one of you who also has the battery drain issue report back if it also happens with a fresh clean install of LOS?

I experienced the "wifi bug" today for the first time since flashing 15.1. Everything was fine and suddenly pages wouldn't load. After a minute or so, the status bar wifi icon went from filled in to empty. When I turned wifi off and back on, it said no networks were available so I had to reboot to restore the connection. This is slightly different behavior than I experienced with stock Nougat. With the stock ROM, if I lost the connection and turned wifi off, it would not turn back on at all. In both cases, a reboot solved the problem. Not a big deal for me.

i know this ,but can make a /vendor partition .file only copy the /system/vendor? and a twrp Treble?

3.4 Q: What is the vendor.img/vendor.zip? (5X and 6P only)
3.4 A: The vendor partition is new to Nexus phones with the 5X and 6P. Previous devices had the vendor files (proprietary binaries and drivers) within the system partition (/system/vendor); on these devices, they now have it in their own partition (/vendor). If this is not up to date, you will get an error message and need to flash the latest one so your phone continues to work properly. Beans has made this a TWRP flashable file available in the OP of the 5X and 6P threads (also linked below) so you do not have to fastboot it.

Tried to cast to my Samsung TV today but all the tablet sees is my Chromecast Audio. I have cast to the TV under stock Nougat without a problem. Didn't see anyway to refresh the device list. Suggestions?

Anybody having trouble with the builds after 11/6? The new builds cause my device to slow down dramatically. Thanks.

This value reported by AccuBattery doesn't seem to be related to the issue: I have the same here, even 98% deep sleep, but still I lose about 20% battery in a day without ever touching the tablet.

Can anyone point me to a version where this problem doesn't exist yet? I would rather stay on an older version until this is fixed. Going back to stock is such a hassle.
I am on the 10/01 build. Last night I charged it accidentally to 100%. After 11 hours with no usage and wifi off, it was still 100%.

I check the Recent changes link and the decide.

The battery is draining at over 30% a day just sitting around doing nothing. Has anyone found a way to improve this short of the elusive 10/01 build ?
