Fingerprint has always worked for me, since v14.

Have you done a clean install (wipe system in TWRP then install)?

I looked into GPS because Smart Lock location unlock doesn't work. Need to unlock manually.
Maybe because location is weak, GPS never locks?

I used the 14.1 version of this, fingerprint worked fine on that. I have done a clean install.

Great ROM... But can't get some gapps to work... Maps and photos won't run. Installed 8.1 opengapps.
Most other features seen good to me.

UPDATE : reinstalled with just nano, then installed apps and all is working

Exfat doesn't work in current build, I may fix it in next one.

EDIT: Please try latest build @HaloTechnology, exfat / f2fs / ext4 should be working now.

Thanks for the update and card works BUT I can't access it , every app says can't access and the setting apps says can't load at the moment .

Do I need to reformat the card ?

Thanks for now and on it's my daily driver one thing is not working beside the SD card and GPS is there is slight laggings in UI overall not bad but there is some , just thought you should know.

TWRP 3.2 was released recenlty so use the latest stock

Thanks for quick response. I did find the tar file and used odin to apply it however I cannot go to TWRP recovery. Says "No Command".

Don't boot to the stock ROM, that overwrites TWRP.

I realised, there are no updates on the LOS download page for the S2 8" tablet. Last build for the 14.1 version is some 2 weeks ago, but there are lots of changes to be included in the next build (https://download.lineageos.org/gts28vewifi/changes/)

At the same time there is more and more activity on a 15.1 version (according to this thread)

Some questions:
- will there be some more updates on LOS 14.1 with all the changes indicated for the next build? (I know, not a question to ask here!)
- has the LOS 15.1 build the same security patches as LOS 14.1?
@LuK1337: thanks for your work on this device! (and your androidfilehost page shows Tab S2 9.7, this was confusing for me ;o)

Just want to report everything is working fine

GPS is still not working and I am not sure why but long pressing home button doesn't engage google assistant for some reason .
