[ROM][OFFICIAL][T713][9] LineageOS 16.0

Hi guys,
I was using LOS 15.1 and wanted to try this build, cleaned everything and flashed the lineage-16.0-20181009_005544-UNOFFICIAL-gts28vewifi.zip with TWRP 3.2.1-0 but I got the following error:
"Updater process ended with error: 7, Error installing zip file"
What I'm doing wrong here?

If I recall correctly, you need to update your TWRP (it is now at 3.2.3.0).

How's battery life on LOS 16.0 BTW?

Been using this ROM for a while, and I must say it is amazing how well it runs! This is the fastest and most stable my tablet has ever been. Thanks so much!

Usage: 10-15% per hour. It is very similar to stock. Standby: 1-1.5% per our. Much worse than stock. WiFi is not turning off while the tablet is sleeping.

Thank you Luk1337 for giving us android pie to our tablets!
I've got the t713 two weeks ago and I installed 9th October version, didn't test too much, everything seems right, but just one thing is not working as expected: changing user from lock screen
Two users on the tablet, to change from one to the other the only way to change is to be on the other's session and change from there. The first user (administrator) has enabled change user from lock screen but the icon on the top right on lock screen does nothing
Anyway we know the other's pin so it's not a big deal in our case to login in the current user to change to the other

I disabled it cause Google made it really ugly and I didn't feel like wasting my time on it.

Has anyone had issues with WiFi on recent builds? I quite often need to turn the WiFi off and on again for traffic to pass. It is always showing connected but just stops working. Clean flash. Done everything except a factory reset? I tried to flash an earlier version but just got stuck in a boot loop.

poor battery life [FIXED]

Just about the only problem I have with this build is battery life.
- 44% loss in 24 hours sleeping
- about 15%/hour watching Netflix with moderately dim screen.

I have another 713 running rooted "stock" Nougat, and the battery life with that setup is just about double. Apparently there are some battery life issues with Pie (https://venturebeat.com/2018/11/01/android-pie-has-a-battery-life-problem/); at this point I'm going to revert to 15.1 and see how that does.

Update: 15.1 loses about 0.6%/hr overnight. and 10%/hr running Netflix, so not quite as good as stock Nougat, but lots better than the 10/18 build of 16.0

Update 11/12: I installed the 1108 build; what a difference! Sleep uses about 0.4%/hr; watching NetFlix uses about 11%/hour. Both values are in line with rooted stock.

Suffering an annoying bug that started around a week ago and seems to be getting worse.

I'm currently using to 10/18 build (though im downloading 11/08 as I type this) and after around an hour of use I get a blank white screen that pops up and will not go away until I reboot. If I press the home button it goes back to desktop for a few seconds then the white screen pops back up again, if I press the app switch button then the app switch view comes up for a few seconds before the white screen pops up again, even if I quickly press close all the white screen still pops back up. Nothing I can do except restart gets rid of this screen.

In the switch app screen the white screen shows up as an application and being really quick i was able to snap a screenshot of it including its logo (which I don't recognise)

This bug is making my tablet unusable.

Problems with widgets & device administrator apps

I'm not sure if these are specific to this ROM, or if it's a general Pie issue.

1. Some (but not all) widgets don't work. Their settings show up in the app drawer, but they are missing in the launcher (same issue on both the default launcher and on Nova launcher). Specifically, aCalendar+ and Google Calendar widgets are missing. The default Calendar app agenda widget *is* there.

2. Some (again, not all) apps that need to run as device administrators are missing from the device admin screen in Settings. Specifically, Screen Off/Lock, and Edge Effects behave this way. Greenify Automator *does* show up.

If anyone could try to put a Google Calendar widget on a home screen and report back, I'd be grateful.

Just tried to place google calendar widget on home screen and it worked without issues. Using Nova launcher btw.
