@LuK1337 getting the following warning while compiling lineageos. Can it be the reason for the misreported battery stats?

drivers/battery_v2/Kconfig:75:warning: type of 'SAMSUNG_BATTERY_ENG_TEST' redefined from 'boolean' to 'tristate'
warning: (ARCH_MSM) selects DEVFREQ_GOV_MSM_BW_HWMON which has unmet direct dependencies (PM_DEVFREQ && (ARCH_MSM_KRAIT || ARCH_MSM_BIMC_BWMON))
warning: (ARCH_MSM) selects DEVFREQ_GOV_MSM_BW_HWMON which has unmet direct dependencies (PM_DEVFREQ && (ARCH_MSM_KRAIT || ARCH_MSM_BIMC_BWMON))
No.

Well: I did take some time to get LineageOS running on my T813.

A few hints from me:
  • After flashing TWPR using Odin I was unable to mount any storage as my Win10 just refused to see it even though I used the boot image patch from the TWPR thread and the tablet was listed as a generic MTP USB device in Windows -> using the Win console with "adb push" to push the files for LineageOS unto my T813 worked just fine for me
  • As the T813 uses arm64 architecture make sure to get the correct OpenGapps and addonsu version(if you want to root): don't be like me and flash the wrong version in both cases. TWPR will abort the installation of the arm OpenGapps version with the hint that you have an arm64 architecture. And as for addonsu: with the arm version you can enable root in the developer options but root won't work - or rather there will be no root prompt(that one drove me crazy for a few minutes)
  • As I had to re-flash everything due to the wrong addonsu version I ran into the already described issue of TWPR bootlooping: I wiped everything, I flashed LineageOS, addonsu and OpenGapps just to be greeted by a constant TWPR bootloop. Flashing TWPR again using Odin did the trick as someone already described.

I have a smt813 wanting to root it. After some research. This was one of the best sources...
I also heard of firmware.mobi...i have the XX version on the latest software. They have an option to configure cf auto root for this tablet.. I wanted to know if this will work or not.. I really don't want to lose internal memory..

I know this is slightly off topic but this seems like a well educated thread thus I asked here...Anyone can help?? I've been using this rom before but switched back to stock. Now rooting is difficult
Any help??

You just want root on stock firmware?
Yes but I tried asking help on the root page for my device...I didn't really get the best answer so I asked here...

I here there is firmware.mobi that can configure cf auto root for our devices.... I was wondering if I could flash this and obtain root on stock via odin

Did you try flashing supersu from TWRP? You have to flash From external card though, on stock you can't access internal card in TWRP.

tab s3 is not expensive but i cant give it for free :)
i suggest to all people to buy this tab... and of course build a lineage os
So $500 is "not expensive" to you. Can you adopt me?

Seriously, my S2 is not even a year old and is working just fine for me. Great performance. Good batttery life. Lots of support. And I only paid $300 for it when it was new less than a year ago.

Missing upper band of 5ghz wifi not being seen

Thank you so much for all your work!!!
Is there a fix of patch for not being able to see 5ghz wifi if the router is using 149-161?
I had my router set on auto and the 5ghz would be there sometimes and not others. I read one of the posts from page 55 I think and then manually set the router to all the lower bands (36-48) and I can see the 5ghz all the time. I'm running 20171107 build and gapps 20171110. This is also a new install of lineageos. I also wiped and formated before installing. Other than that things seem to running fine and fast.
Thanks again.. Cheers
