It may be a placebo, but I see some improvement with the fingerprint sensor with the latest build. In the last two days it failed only twice. (Edit) Just a little slow in unlocking, but more reliable.

(2nd edit) I removed the fingerprint registered a couple of builds ago, and started fresh with a new one and see how it goes.

p.s. And the rom feels very smooth!!!

What was the error message?
Installed original firmware (T813XXS2BQG3_T813PHN2BQD1_HOME.tar), restarted, installed twrp (3.1.1-1-gtsvewifi), restarted, and finally rooted system and restarted. So far so good. Then tried to install the zip file lineage-15.0-20170910-UNOFFICIAL-gts210vewifi with TWRP and got the message "The updater process ended with error 7"

Read earlier in the log to get the actual error message.

Also, you have to wipe at least the data partition before flashing.

Thanks for reply.
I did format the data folder and did a factory reset as well before flashing. The complete error message is:
installing zip file "/ etc..........." -> Checking for MD5 -> Skipping MD5 check-> warning: no file_context -> E3004: this package is for device : etc -> Updater process ended with error 7-> Error installing zip file etc... -> updating partition details...Done.....

Did you flash proper TWRP? You should be using one linked in OP.

Latest builds support sdcardfs, that should improve internal storage performance :3
I may port it over to 14.1 when I'll be bored enough to do it.

Let me know if you find any new issues that weren't in previous releases.
Things are looking great so far. The rom is smooth and a pleasure to use. No issue encountered yet with the new fs, again maybe a placebo but the tablet seems to perform better!

Maybe you are aware of this, the adaptive brightness seems broken, if activated it runs at max level. Is there any way to tune it a little bit? :)

It works, just try to cover your light sensor and it will dim the screen after a while.

You are right, the screen dims after a while when covered. In my opinion, it is way too sensitive than. In a moderately lighted environment the brightness is always at max level.

Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have it a little more accurate. If I remember correctly, this commit in omnirom improved adaptive brightness

https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/23226/1/overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml

If it is of any value. Thanks for considering this! :)
