So I'm currently on CM 13 and having a bit terrible battery life. Does this rom perform better than it? Also should I go for the latest nightly (26/6) or go for the release version. Are there any major feature differences between the two?

Also does this rom support gestures like Asus stock rom / CM rom?

Is a new release / nightly coming anytime soon. I'm ready to wait for it.

You should definitely try 14.1. As far as builds go, there are no nightlys only weeklies. Friday /Saturday, depending where you live is the time for new weekly.

You should wait for the next one and do a clean flash.

I've been on 20170428 weekly and the ROM has been rock solid with great performance and battery life, except for one grudge. The Asus pixelmaster camera takes a long time to load, capture picture, and view photos. Any solution to speed up photo-capture?

Battery back up is ok ok.Average.i mean same as lineage OS. 4 hr to 4:30.hr SOT.
Rom is stable, faced no issues so far.

Actually i had experienced that roms released in april are giving more backup
Same goes with rr rom i am in april build and its best for backup
