Nope dont need to download md5sum , you just need to download rom (that's zip file there) and also gapps file ( if youwant to use Google Apps)

I'm using lineage OS for like 3 weeks... And is starting to bores me...RR ROM I've used it too but now has a reboot option problem...Is octos Worth it..I mean like is it fun and never bores u guys??

Minor Problem Not bugs
1. Screen lock/unlock sound is too low
2. there is no sound output when device plugged into charger, even after set custom ringtone
3. can we remove lock screen wallpaper dim effect? actually dark wallpaper which can set on lock screen , looks so blurry due to that.
that dim effect in lockscreen is a android thing .. this helps in seeing the lockscreen notifications and the info displayed...
it cannot be changed .. coz its embedded in the Android lockscreen from lolipop as i remember
you can use custom lockscreen apps

clean flash is necessary as you r moving from one rom to another ... otherwise it may create many problems and u may face force closes
try using titanium backup to backup apps and data .. and the restore after you have flased a new rom
