Migrate to different phone.

I wanted a device with classic aspect ratio and front-facing stereo speakers and will decide between a Sony XZ1 and the Pixel 2. Both will have a minimum of 1 year of security updates to go. I don't like the new aspect ratio displays since most YouTube videos I watch have the classic aspect ratio! :cyclops:

But the important question is: Will there still be monthly security patches for LineageOS 14.1? if yes, at which intervals?
Because march security patch for 14.1 is avaible since middle of march

Don't need to change recovery or firmware
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Have fun.

It's no longer supported by Lineage. You could try Resurrection Remix, installed it yesterdays and it's doing well until now with the latest security patches

Is it still worthwhile to install this ROM, my dad lost his phone so need to get his old Moto G working.

Or can you guys suggest any stable and Light ROM ?

I don't use this device as dayly driver, but RR was working really good, don't know, if there are still updates. Now i flashed Lineage 17, working well.
