For all who are looking for the best ROM for our Daisy

I hope I found it: MSM Xtended XT Release v4 [Android 13].

Okay, the camera is bad, the flash is not synced, contacts can't be imported via VCF card and there is no clock either, but I'm sure that can be easily fixed. Otherwise, everything I tested seems to work well and what is very important to me, the ROM is very smooth, stable and battery friendly.

I installed this on my a2 lite yesterday and I think it is excellent. As regards the issues you faced, certainly I have a clock/alarm no problem there. My camera is open camera and it works fine, I never use the supplied one. As for contacts import it depends on the one you are using. If you use the one titled 'com.android.contacts' (the logo has two smiley faces one black and one blue) then you are right, vcf import doesn't work. However, if you use the one titled 'com.google.android.contacts' (the logo has one blue head and shoulders on it) then that one does work.
All in all I think this is a superb rom. I did have an earlier version installed before, but I thought it had been abandoned so I replaced it - obviously I was wrong it is still going and very worth while installing once you manage to defeat the appalling gesture navigation that it comes with by default! But that is just my personal prejudice.

Tricky question! The name of the clock app is 'clock' otherwise known as 'com.google.android.deskclock' It could be that it got reinstalled when I ran neo backup and I didn't even notice it was missing in the first place.

Then there is no deskclock installed for me, I have checked everything again...

I did every steps right. I used LiteGapps Basic. After the inital start apps loading, phone started lagging. And now its mostly laggy. I couldnt even answer a phone call cause phone froze. How can i fix this?

Here's how I would try it again:

- Boot to TWRP
- Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache, Internal Storage (Optional).
- change the slot
- Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache, Internal Storage (Optional)
- Flash the ROM
- Flash the TWRP
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash the GApps
- Flash the Magisk (Optional)
- Reboot and Enjoy

I installad LiteGapps core and Magisk 25.2, everything I need works very well

Super great experience with this ROM,so many thanks to the developer I have an issue, not only with this ROM but with every custom ROM on my Mi A2 Lite; after flashing, I have only slow charge enable and download speed is reduced from the original one whitin the same WiFi connection. Any sugestion? Thanks in advance (I have installed this ROM whit clean install, not dirty)

I installed this and it went well until I tried to sideload twrp and magisk, both give signature verification errors and just fail. The sideload of gapps went without problems so it is nothing to do with usb debugging or anything like that. What is the correct version of Magisk for this rom (using 25.2) and what is the correct twrp version (using 3.7.0_12-0).

Edit. I used an older version of twrp (3.5.2_9.2) now it all works. Go figure?

v5.0 clean flash with LiteGapps core and Magisk

Even when no apps are open and airplane mode is enabled, the frequencies of the cores move up and down nervously. I watched for longer than 10 min, the cores did not calm down.
On my previous ROM with a different 4.9.xxx (rename?) kernel, they settled down after a few seconds.

Although the ROM has a setting for spoof package signature, I'm having difficulty getting MicroG to work on the vanilla version on a Redmi Note 8T (ginkgo/willow).

I've tried, variously: manual install, MinMicroG via TWRP, MicroG installer revived and LSposed via Magisk, and Fake Gapps, but so far MicroG always reports system doesn't spoof signature.

Advice welcome.

Then i got safetynet errors
I googled like 3 hours and here is the solution

repo.xposed.info/module/com.thermatk.android.xf.fakegapps

You need to install xposed to use this.

Update: I've had success fixing the unchecked permissions after installing MinMicroG via TWRP (without needing Magisk, but on a different ROM, so I don't know if it will work with MSM Xtended) by following this advice:

Run this command from any terminal app (like Termux) after su, or from a computer after adb shell, and then reboot:

npem;
