Update: I've had success fixing the unchecked permissions after installing MinMicroG via TWRP (without needing Magisk, but on a different ROM, so I don't know if it will work with MSM Xtended) by following this advice:

Permission troubles with microG and gang​

Run this command from any terminal app (like Termux) after su, or from a computer after adb shell, and then reboot:

npem;

When i watch youtube videos it suddenly goes black and never loads until i change video. Black screen error repeats itself every 2 minutes no matter which video im playing. I tried newpipe and newpipe works but it also errors me when i fullscreen. Idk what to do im using magisk with microG.

for me NewPipe works very well, but only with 720p. if I manually switch to 1080p, then there is an error message... v5.0 with Magisk and LiteGapps core

I changed my default settings to 1080 in newpipe in order to watch it 1080p and im not changing it ever since. But i cant use Youtube and if i open like firefox with like +6 pages it starts to lag.

Panda-Kernel may be good for gaming, I don't know because it doesn't interest me. High everyday usability is much more important to me, and that includes low battery consumption.
The battery consumption with the Panda-Kernel was too high for me, so I tried Daisy Rename-Kernel_v11 one week ago. The result was very satisfying!
The Rename-Kernel works flawlessly with this ROM for me, everything works reliably and the battery consumption is much lower. Not only overnight in airplane mode, also during the day when mobile data is used throughout.

And also on this rom can you activate the accesspoint after a phone call? On voltage OS the switch turns back off after 10 seconds...

Changing kernel:
Make a backup of your current boot partition in case something goes wrong.
Boot into TWRP recovery
Flash the kernel.zip & re-flash Magisk if installed
wipe dalvik-cache & reboot to system - enjoy!

P.S. Bluetooth tethering works well, but I tested it without phone call.

WiFi Hotspot does not work for me, only Bluetooth-Tethering.

Overall this ROM is amazingly very smooth and fluid. Excellent UI optimization. Customization features are good enough. Battery backup is great with rename kernel.

Few minor bug i found.
Vibrate to connect, Don't work. In apps settings disable the apps data access also not working.

I have not found an OTA updater in this ROM, so update via OTA is not possible for me. February update is the last, have patience, for a device about 5 years old it is already very good.

Thanks for the reply. I have plenty of paitence, don't worry about that. What I would worry about though is that you can't find an updater in this rom. Either you aren't looking very closely or there is something wrong with you install, the updater is where it always is, namely Settings/System/System Update.

Thank you for the info! I checked again, I did not find an updater. Next update I will install the ROM again with a clean flash.

I've now flashed 2 different stock firmwares (10.0.18 and 11.x.x) to then do a clean install of this rom but the outcome is always the same (stuck at the flashing X logo).
Stock rom works just fine though so I'm a bit confused.. I've tried both with and without gapps. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Basic FW latest 11.x.x

Used the correct TWRP version?
twrp-3.5.2_9-2-daisy-unofficial.zip

Maybe the download is faulty? Unfortunately I still could not find md5 or SHA checksums, download again...

Xtended v6.0 with April Security Patch was released today for the first devices, Daisy update will hopefully follow soon as well
