I havent found any fix.. i wasted 2 days when i was on crdroid to fix this problem tried diffrent roms.. this bug is in every rom based on lineage os tree.. i dont like miui at all but forced to use it.
Ahhh damn, I tried different ROMs too, but I had no success, I don't want to switch over to MIUI so I've flashed the latest AICP build. I really like the customization options available on this ROM, battery life looks great, I need to test out performance, but I have a feeling it will be great too! Once this mic bug gets fixed, this will be the best ROM for me

Yeah Resurrection remix , crdroid , aicp these 3 have all options in customisation but alas all have same bugs of no mic in apps and game via wired headphones. I am using MIUI vn with miui optimisation disabled. So atleast apps are not force closed from recent by miui.

I've been using AICP for a couple of days now, battery life is great, performance is also not bad (not gonna match MIUI for gaming but still pretty decent nevertheless). But apart from the mic bug I've noticed another bug, PIP is broken, YouTube, Maps all have issues with PIP, the small screen ends up under the screen, when you pull up the keyboard, then it shows up on top of the keyboard, and tapping it or trying to move it somewhere causes it to go back under the screen. Pretty annoying :/

I have one issue after all. In call, if I put phone to ear screen turn off and it's very hard to turn it on again. Power button nor proximity doesn't turn it on. Double tap power button launch camera (not always) and then I can end call, but this workaround is not a good one.

Any advise please?

I am also having this issue the screen completely refuses to turn on no matter what I press, I end up having to hard restart the phone

Hi,I updated via OTA (works great) to 9.9 build to find out if issue above is fixed (don't know yet) and now all notification status bar icons are in colour. Not black or white according background. Is there a switch to turn them back to b/w?

Ok. time to time I feel like I'm talking to myself, but this ROM is so good I wonder, why where are no comments.

16.9 build. BW icons again. So I have 0 issues right now.

What I find special about AICP?
- Working OTA
- Safetynet PASS without anything
- Adds blocking without root and VPN
- Switch to disable Navigation bar without root
- Many customizations
- Slim recents. I love slim recents for years.

What is not so special?
- I have worse battery then on previous AOSP rom (but it last for 2 days anyway so i dont care).
- AOD and d2w

Thank you DEV, I really appreciate your work

usually few comments mean few bugs, maybe I'll join you and give it a try next week! Any annoying bugs on last version? is network stable? no random reboots?

I have trouble installing this rom. After flashing the ROM and rebooting in twrp internal storage isnt recognized.

I noticed that the storage is encrypted (0mb partitions) so i tried format data and it shows up but i cant push gapps or anything to it.

Tried syberiaos, which has the same clean flash procedure, without problem.

I flashed latest global stock (12.5.2) before all of this and tried both twrp.

are you sure you did format data after flashing rom and gapps? try flashing it from USB otg (I always do that now).

rom side, does anyone get face unlock working on last build? also I don't find any settings for refresh rate, and initial setup didn't propose me to restore backup with nick gapps whereas it did with crdroid

I dont even come to the point of flashing gapps. I have access to the storage when booted in twrp before flashing the rom. But when i reboot to recovery thats gone. So i cant flash gapps/magisk. And like i said, i did the same with syberia and there it works.

I will try via otg. Thanks for the tip.

Edit: if you meant If i format data directly after flashing ROM: yes i tried that too.

I don't use face unlock, but you are right, cannot find it.
Refresh rate is in settings/additional device settings.
I had issues with gapps on CrDroid:) I just flash AICP, stock Nikk gaps and no troubles with setup wizard and restoring backup.

well I dunno why on some rom the whole initial setup doesn't happen. It's annoying having to dl all apps again from store instead of restoring from Google backup. I miss face unlock, hope it will be added in a future version! Otherwise rom is great, stable and smooth with interesting tweaks and feature and it's own visual identity !

Out of all the ROM's for Alioth, this one is my favourite. The navigational gestures work perfectly in landscape mode which is more than what can be said for other ROM's. On top of that it has a great amount of customisation as well as being smooth and fast! thank you Dev for this amazing ROM. :)

The new build is working great with Optimus Drunk Kernel now. Good work, this is one of the better ROMS out there for the Poco.

    AICP
    Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!

Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS), we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q-R with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device-specific repositories.

If there are any bugs we will sort them out if it concerns our codebase. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.
    *

    You tell... :p

    FAQ:
    Before using the ROM:
    Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
    A. Yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.

    Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
    A. No. You can still use them, but the discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!

    Flashing the ROM:
    Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
    A. Check the flashing instructions...

    Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
    A. Yes, this is the usual behavior on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.

    Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
    A. Wipe the System, Cache, and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution, and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to perform that task for you.

    Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to lose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to lose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterward.

    Using the ROM:

    Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
    A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. Do not post the content here. Thanks.)

    Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section on the AICP Extras main page.

    instructions.png

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android R. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM zip file.

It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)

    As always make backups beforehand
    Boot into TWRP
Flash rom (enable twrp inject) and reboot to recovery
Flash Gapps, Magisk etc. (disable twrp inject) and factory reset + format data
    Reboot to system and profit

    How to update:
Boot into TWRP and flash rom (enable twrp inject)
Reboot to recovery and flash Gapps, Magisk etc. (disable twrp inject)
    Reboot to system

    Currently supported Root Solution:

    Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 20.3 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.

    PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices, you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.
